Good value for money.
1. Pretty good sound quality for 40 bucks, as far as I see it. 2. Comes with windproof dead cat shield (synthetic fur). 3. Requires 48V phantom power. 4. I am using it with my Zoom H6, for interviews. Works great.

Amazing when Eq'd properly and spoken directly into.
First of all let me preface this by stating my "normal" microphone i use with this setup is a Cad E-100s ($400 retail on amazon) and this Comica Cardiod mic.. for $37... sounds comparable. Now to be clear i am running these through a high end audio interface with compression, noise gate, and professional Eq'ing but the end result...is fresh apples and near fresh apples... The mic holds its own against a higher end super Cardiod Mic which is impressive to say the least...now the downside....this is not an impressive tie clip lavalier microphone.... the reason i say this is because when clipped to anything not right up to your mouth this will only pick up a "distant" signal, meaning unless you eat the mic its either a. not going to pick you up that clearly or b. need gain levels to be high therefore picking up any line level noise and all ambient's. (there is a low noise floor but its still noticeable, also noticed some line level interference but again very low amounts) I know it may sound strange to praise the mic and give it 4 stars when it does not work great as an single direction Cardiod pattern lav lapel mic... but it does work great as a single direction Cardiod Pattern Mic. I draped mine on a stand and it is near professional voice over quality which in turn makes it more then suitable for Twitch Streaming and Youtube videos. for the price hands down a great entry level cardiod pattern mic, just dont expect to clip it to your tie and be able to hear perfectly without turning the gain up quite a bit. The very focused cone of sound the mic is sensitive to is small, you have to speak right into that cone...when you get up close and personal with that cone...it sounds really good. Also worth noting the small fuzzy ball that comes with it makes a huge difference for plosives (p's and S's) when put over the foam pop filter.

Decent back up XLR microphones
I create podcasts on the road and figured this may be a solution that would not require me to carry full-size microphones but after experimentation and comparison I decided I will still carry the full-size microphones and use the Comicas as a back up or if I interview more than two people at a time. The sound quality is decent but it is not great and does not compare to a full sized microphone. These microphones also pick up a lot of ambient noise from the room.

Nice Lavalier mic.
I like this Lavalier mike. I wish that the cord would be longer.

Amazing quality and a fantastic price! Must buy!
I am blown away by the quality this lavalier was able to pump out. I had bought one with a 3.5mm that eventually stopped working with my Tascam and I had to use my iPhone to record. Didn’t want that again - so I bought these with XLR inputs. Perfect quality, had no problem working with the preamps and much more accurate than an omnidirectional. As expected, you do need to get that microphone pretty close to their throat but the quality is awesome. I had a shoot the day they arrived and it was easy, easy, easy. I recommend these especially if you’re starting out and need to save money - these will keep you going for a while.

Do NOT Purchase
This is my first time ever writing a review. I normally do not say anything, even if the product is bad, but I have to say something this time to hopefully help someone else. I have a Canon XA11 camcorder. I bought this product because it had Canon in the description. I was so happy to get the product. It felt sturdy and of good quality. I plugged it in, but I could not get it to work with my device. Yet, worse than that, I could not get the mics to come out of the device. I almost had a panic attack. I searched online and another person with the same camcorder and a different brand of XLR lavalier mic said he had the same problem. His brand looked exactly like this one, just a different name. He said that there is a lip inside the XLR part that does not allow the release lever to work. I removed the handle from the camcorder, but I still could not get it out (as seen in the picture). I had to remove the screws on the camcorder handle, stick a small flat head screwdriver into the release lever, and thankfully with a lot of force, I was able to remove the mics. I put it right back in the box and returned it the next day. I'm not sure what camera this mic is good for, but it definitely is not for the Canon XA11. Purchase at your own risk!

Good value for money
I use it as a violin microphone: Good sound quality, very good price The quality of the material is not great - I ordered a few mics, some of them stopped working pretty soon... Beware, pretty sensible to feedbacks on stage!

Happily surprised!
The price of these microphones made me skeptical because it was relatively cheap compared to some of my other audio equipment. I was happily surprised with the quality! The pick up pattern and the quality of the microphones was great! The clips were great on the microphones too :)

I ordered the Comica CVM-V02C to review as part of the Amazon Vine program. From the product pictures and some customer reviews, it looks like you’re supposed to receive two microphones, but I only received one. On top of that, my package appeared to have been opened before it wasn’t wrapped correctly, and the cable looked like it had been used. I’m disappointed in Amazon’s quality control for allowing opened/used packages to be sent out and for sending the wrong quantity. Hopefully at this price point, and based on all the pictures shown, you are supposed to get two microphones with this. Otherwise, the price is quite a bit high for what these are. I think (and hope) they just made a mistake on my order. As for the microphone itself, I tested it with my mixer using phantom power. It worked without issue, amplified well, and required very little gain on my mixer. The sound was more boomy than I expected, with a noticeable amount of bass. This can be good or bad depending on your needs, but I found that it picked up handling noise, breathing, and popping sounds quite easily. The included fuzzy pop filter did help reduce some of this, but overall the sound quality was just average. Build quality feels okay but not great. Out of curiosity, I disassembled the mic, and the internal condenser element looked like something you’d find in a low-end headset microphone. That said, when in use it didn’t sound terrible just not nearly as refined as a higher-quality mic. The cardioid pickup pattern is very narrow, and while it works, it isn’t impressive compared to other microphones I’ve used. For reference, I prefer the sound and feel of my SM58, though of course that’s a different style of mic altogether. Overall, I can say this is far from the worst-sounding microphone I’ve tested, but between the questionable packaging, missing quantity, and the so-so sound quality, I can’t give it high marks. Hopefully this was just a mix-up on my order, because if the set is only one microphone at this price, it feels quite overpriced for what you get. If this is a single microphone for this price I would not recommend at all. A final note If you do get two microphones in the package for the current price, I’d rate this about 3.6 out of 5 stars. If you only get one, I’d remove a star and rate it closer to 2.6 out of 5.

Recomendado.

I'm using the XLR cable I just received and connecting it to my mixer. The microphone works great. It's very sensitive, but you need to be close to it. There's no background noise. I received two individually packaged units. One box is damaged, as if it's been used, but the unit itself is intact.
