Good luck finding anything similar to this siding mount. I have researched the web for days and nothing is going to beat this one. I’m surprised you can’t find this at a local hardware store. I’m glad I purchased this one because it fit my siding and worked out mounting the light I needed. The quality is excellent and looks like it’s professionally installed

This surface block worked great with my 5” vinyl siding. There’s a small gap under the siding lap but that’s a easy fix with a little white silicone. The surface block color matches white vinyl siding really well IMO. It was very easy to install and I’m glad these are available. Looks great!

This works ok. It didn't touch the siding on the bottom. About 1/4" gap. I filled in with white silicone all around to prevent insect infestation. The look is good. Keep in mind this works best if you're drilling from the outside in. That way you can pick where the penetration goes through this block. If you go inside out, it might not line up good.

Used four of these to evenly mount four outside lights and they look so much better now that they are flush mounted with the help of these...the lights I was replacing were ever-so-slightly angled up because I had mounted them directly to the vinyl siding on my stoop. Had I known about the existence of these years ago I would have used them because they look nice, are reasonably priced and they are easy to install. There are wire holes in the middle that thread through and the vinyl siding perfectly fits in the back groove to allow for a perfect mount. If I had to point to a minor downside it is that some lights have backplates that are designed to attach directly to an electric box in the wall and having this between requires drilling an extra hole but that is certainly not any reason to not use these because the lights look so much cleaner and nicer now that they are mounted perfectly straight. I posted a picture of our light for reference.

Just what I was looking for

I still haven't found a block that actually fits the laps on my siding. This was close, but I still had to cut the angled sides of the block to make it fit nicely.

Had this for several months now. It seems to be sturdy to support the flag in high winds. Would recommend it. Was easy to install.

I have used similar mounting plates before and this one works perfectly. It provides a flat surface for mounting outside lights, cameras or anything on siding. Looks like it was meant to be there. Great product.

Fit & finish is awesome, lots of possibilities with this, has 3 different standard shapes molded into if tmfor different boxes etc, no extra holes so you can basically use it for whatever you need. Very thick material, very white, ABS? Screwed my camera in until it sucked right in and was starting to go concave. I was worried when I first got it that it wouldn't fit my siding, but after screwing it in it fit great

CSR Joselynne stated "If there's anything else we can assist you with, don't hesitate to ask." but when I ask if this one fit my sidings with photos, she has not responded at all. I decided to risk a blind buy based on good reviews on Amazon.com and ends up it does not fit my sidings at all. Now return shipping fee is more than the product itself.
