Rapesco 1540 500 Heavy Duty Tape Dispenser with 2 Tape Rolls, Black

Due to arthritis I found this very easy to use because of the weight it was very sturdy and stable. Great quality product and very good value for money

This is a solid piece of kit. Purchased the white dispenser which looks really good. Solid, reliable, good quality and will last for years I'm sure. 2 sizes of tape can be used as well. It is only a tape dispenser after all, but this one fits all my requirements.

I've had a bit of a mission getting a tape dispenser from Rapesco, after finding this great candy pink coloured one that fits in with my craft desk. The first one that arrived seemed to have had a step missing in production - either inside the base or with its sealing - because every time I moved it I'd find a little scattering of sand/fine grit underneath. Eventually after wiping down the base then shaking the unit I realised the material used for weighing it down was somehow coming through! I was approved for a refund and sent it back (easy, via Post Office, no printing required!) before buying a replacement of the same colour, which arrived with a black scuff mark on the side of it which won't come off. It's not anywhere near as annoying as having to hoover up little bits of grit, though, so I haven't raised an issue this time.For the dispenser itself, it works well and is well made. Easy to put together and to use. My only real negative point is that the Rapesco brand tape (of which I now have 4 rolls to use) isn't the best and tends to 'split' easily if you're not careful when pulling it from the roll. Dispenser good, tape less so.

This was a good quality heavy weighted sellotape holder, it will last a long time, also came with 2 rolls of sellotape, well worth the money.

Great quality tape dispenser. I had my original one of this brand for years and it was an absolute staple on birthdays and Christmases when I was wrapping presents. The blades stay sharp, the weighted bottom means that it doesn’t tip over and you can use it one handed and I liked the baby pink colour in my office.Very easy to replace the tape and seems to work with any standard role of tape from the shop as the inside wheel is slightly smaller on one side which means you can push the role onto it until it’s wide enough that it stays nice and tight.The only reason I have to replace was because my daughter dropped it on one of her many occasions of stealing it for her craft work and broke the pin which holds the tape in the dispenser. Unable to find it, I couldn’t fix it so had to buy another but went straight back for the one I bought a couple of years before.It’s a good size without being too bulky, it cuts tape perfectly, it grips onto the table without sliding about everywhere, the colour looks nice, fits Most generic office Sellotape sizes and good value!

Good sturdy tape dispenser, very well priced, came with two rolls of tape too, can't fault it sturdy does its job would recommend
