Uni the Unicorn Kindle Edition

I purchased this book for my 2 1/2-year-old daughter because the topic sounded sweet and appropriate since she also loves unicorns. The flow of this story is weak, almost annoyingly so. She will go through the book and look at the pictures but refuses to read it again because she is still looking for the “The End” all the while, asking if we missed a page! As another reviewer posted, “Uni and the little girl are both imagining each other existence BUT never meet. The book just ends there.” Wish I saw their review before purchasing and I would return it but the artwork is its saving grace.

It's a cute book. I wouldn't say it's a heartfelt book. Its about Uni the unicorn and how he/she believes in little girls and every other unicorn doubts Uni. Then, there's a little girl that appears in the book that believes in unicorn while everyone doubts her. Uni and the little girl are both imagining each other existence BUT never meet. The book just ends there. I would say this is for a younger audience like 2-4 years. I bought it for my niece (2 years old) with a unicorn plush so she can expand her imagination and have that childhood fantasy.

Two nights ago I stumbled upon this beautiful children's book while walking around Barnes and Noble with my husband. As I opened this perfectly whimsical book, and read the pages, I was filled with excitement and felt like all my childhood dreams were coming true. I loved it so much that I just HAD to buy it for My daughter for full retail price at the store rather than from Amazon, so she would have it for her birthday. As soon as I left the store, I bought a second copy from Amazon to give to my niece. This is all to say... If you have/know a little girl, buy this book for them. Too dreamy to pass up.

The book has really great art work and the story is really cute, but it kind of ends weird. The unicorn and the little girl never actually meet. When I finished reading it to my 3 year old for the first time she said 'is that it?' I now know there is a second book where it seems like the do meet so we will probably buy that one. Good marketing on their part I guess.

The story is lovely and my daughter absolutely loves this book BUT she just got it yesterday and it is falling apart! The pages are not connected to the spine very well and already four pages that are detaching next to the spine. Very disappointing. I am using tape to try to prevent further damage. Not well made.

I am always looking for stories that convey spiritual virtues. The unicorn has faith, the girl has faith, and their faith is rewarded, each meeting with their Best Beloved. I was worried the illustrations were too cartoonish, and they are (just a little, to my taste), but my granddaughter LOVES the story and the pictures. The colors are clear and bright, matching the message which is sparkling and uplifting,

this book is full of magic! My 3 year old loves it; she asked to read it every night. The idea of little girls being make believe is adorable and the book is wonderfully written. I am confused about how negative some of the reviews were, those upset by the ending (not me) should look and see that there is a sequel due out in August, which we will also be buying!

Randomly got this book out of the library one day (okay, not quite randomly, I already loved Yes Day by this author), and we so loved it. What a perfect book for little girls. Though, my wife and I may even love it more than our 5-year old daughter. Great story. Wonderful illustrations. A near-perfect children's book.

I bought this for my horse / unicorn mad 4yr old. She has fallen in love with it ♥️ it's beautifully illustrated and will last (I went for the board book option). My two sons love it too and it's great that the tale reflects a "strong, capable little girl". We'll definitely be ordering the next book!

Adorable, simple and unusual story which my horse/unicorn mad 5 year old loved receiving on her birthday! Make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside somi don't mind read it to her again and again and again...
