I bought this to check in on my pup during the day. I received the camera yesterday, here are the Pros in no particular order: -set it up in about 1 minute and it's working great. I was able to set it up in one place, then unplug and move it to the place where I envisioned it. It took a few seconds to reconnect but I was glad to learn it doesn't need to be set up any time it's moved. -the picture is clear and in color. -can easily snap a picture and I believe there is free cloud storage for 14 days and if you would like to purchase a storage for a longer period of time, you may. I don't need it so don't quote me on this. -the 2 way mic is awesome - although I did notice that when I talk into it, I hear a repeat of what I just said, which may be me hearing it coming from the other side as if someone were responding - but that feature wasn't the reason I bought this, so it doesn't affect my opinion. -I read a bunch of recent review of the app before I downloaded it and there were mostly complaints and was expecting the worst. However I haven't experienced anything negative. -my husband can view it from his phone as well, at the same time I am. Cons: -I don't have another one to watch other rooms -can't get my work done at work because I'm too busy watching the app lol For the price and quality, I would highly recommend this - I'm even debating purchasing at least 1 more so I can see another room (s) in the house.

I bought this camera, knowing it's an interior camera, to watch the front door at my condo. I was a little worried about the quality of the picture due to it being made for indoors, but it works very well. The only issue I had was with the night vision at night through the window you could only see the reflection of the window and the screen in the window. But, you are able to turn off the night vision which solved the problem. You can set the camera up to use motion detection. It will take a short video clip, or snap shot, and you can receive a notification that the camera activated. I've kinda become obsessed with watching them to see who has been going back my condo unit lol. There's also a microphone in the camera, so if you are using it for a baby monitor or to watch a dog you can communicate through the app. It was very easy to set up and I'm already recommending the camera to my friends. For the price and all the features you get with it this product really can't be beat.

For the price this is the best wifi camera you can get on Amazon. The picture quality is pretty good and has an HD mode. The motion sensor works perfect for our simple needs. The app has some pretty good features, such as scheduling a sleep mode and controlling zones for motion detection. One of my favorite things is the ability to use an SD card instead of paying for a subscription to record. I now have 3 of these set up in my home and I am overall satisfied with everything it can do at this price point. The only complaint I have is with it's ability to be a baby monitor when coupled with an Amazon echo show. Our original plan was to use this camera and our echo show as a cheap baby monitor system with an easy setup. However, we ran into a big problem, when using an echo show the camera feed eventually times out at about an hour or two and defeats the whole purpose of using it as a baby monitor. We spoke with Netvue about the problem and they told us it was a problem on Amazon's end, we then called Amazon and they told us it was a problem on Netvue's end. Eventually we were told we would get a call back from Netvue who still assured us it wasn't something they had programmed. In the end it was never solved and we ended up just using a tablet as our screen for the baby monitor which wasn't our original intentions but not the end of the world.

just purchased two Netvue security cameras. I was looking for something to replace my previous camera. They worked good but getting kind of pricey so was looking for a less expensive way to monitor my home when I am not there. I mostly use them to keep an eye on my dog. Set up was fairly easy , I followed the instructions and it did take it a few times to get connected but had each camera up and running within 10 minutes. I set them up and placed them where the dog usually lays during the day. Also had them pointed towards doors and windows just in case. Picture on camera is good and shows a clear pictures in daylight and nighttime. I do like how you can set motion alerts, turn off the light so you don’t see the red light. Only negative so far is if you want to see video after the free 14 days you have to purchase a plan for each camera which is roughly 19.00 per year per camera. My opinion it shouldn’t be per camera but per account. So if you have several cameras you can see the video on any of them. I would give them 4 out if 5 just because of the plan per camera. Overall so far they have been great cameras and do what I need them to do. It was a great price for each camera so anyone could have a camera if they needed extra security.
