Nespresso Vertuo Plus Automatic Pod Coffee machine for Americano, Decaf, Espresso by Magimix in Red

I am extremely happy with this Nespresso machine! It looks very stylish and high quality, and the red color is absolutely beautiful—striking and vibrant. I love the versatility of the water container, which can be placed next to the machine or rotated to be positioned at the back, depending on your preference. The large water tank is a great feature too, as I don’t need to refill it often. I also prefer the Vertuo capsules that fit this machine over the standard ones. The variety of options is fantastic—they come in different sizes like espresso, double espresso, and even mug-sized servings, with a wide range of flavors and strengths to choose from. It allows me to easily select the perfect amount of coffee based on my preference that day. The machine came with 12 capsules, and I also got a great deal with 50 free capsules as part of a promotion, making the price even more worthwhile. The only thing to note is that this machine is a bit larger and heavier compared to some other Nespresso models I’ve had in the past, so just keep that in mind depending on where you plan to use it. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality and performance of this machine—it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys great coffee!

A very nice machine the coffee blends are nice it comes with an assortment of capsules that are very easy to use. Beware of the offer on at present though of 100 free capsules you have to go to the nespresso site to get it and they ask for proof of purchase in the form of a receipt which you don't get with Amazon. The capsules however on this machine are new therefore a lot more expensive than the older machines it works out over a pound a cup, which I think is expensive for home use. There are alternatives though which I'm exploring at the moment such as refilling the pods with my own ground coffee, I will update my review when I have had time to experiment with it. One final observation if you like lattes this machine doesn't do them it's designed for cold milk or black coffee use, it would have been a nice touch for nespesso to have added the milk pods as in earlier machines. The machine itself I recomend, but not the expensive pods that come with it, hope this review has helped.

I had resisted the urge to get a nespresso maker for a few years. I was always interested in a bean to cup maker but could never bring myself to spending the 400 gbp plus for one. Took the plunge with this model. For 70 gbp, I couldn't go too far wrong. Up to this point, I drank instant coffees, e.g. kenco, millicano, nescafe Americano etc. And thought it was fine. Post the first taste of the nespresso, the former instant coffee wasn't fine, it was poor, low grade coffee. The nespresso machine makes you realise this. Yes, instant is OK but it's not great. It's only when you have something better do you realise what you had was poor. OK, so the financials. 70gbp gets you the maker and a included is c. 20 pods which have a retail value of c.15 gbp. Then when you register, you get a welcome pack of 50 capsules which have a value of c. 30 gbp. Then you get 25gbp off your first and 6th order. It has paid for itself already! Yes, you're on the hook and it's a subscription service but it's far superior coffee with lots of different flavours and styles. Handy app to manage the orders and free delivery on orders of 100 capsules or more. Free collection of your recycled capsules too.

Loved it since the first coffee. Easy to operate and the coffee it brews is a dream for my palate. the coffee capsule isn’t cheap enough to be a marvellous choice but it’s worthwhile!

I love my Nespresso virtuoso plus, I've signed up for one of the Nespresso plus deals, which saves a lot of money, is extremely flexible, you can order a regular two month delivery, and if thats too much you can go to three months, or vice versa, down to one month. You can cancel at anytime, but why would you, when you are making great savings, also you can change your order each time until you get the taste you want, all the sizes are available, I'm looking at getting a brother to make cappuccinos. I got my machine in a lovely red which goes great in my kitchen. It is also soooo easy to use straight out of the box, minimal assembly, and simple push button, only one, a monkey could be trained to work it. Great stuff. Now for the negatives, I made a mistake when I first got the machine and seeing a pack of fair trade coffees for espresso and believing in fair trade I bought them, they don't work in my virtuoso machine, so make sure your getting the right sized pods. The pods were Nespresso but for the other models using original sized pods. One to watch out for... make sure the box says "for Vertuo". The second thing which I think is a little more serious is the drip tray you stand your mug on. It leans forward slightly so it's sloping ever so slightly away from the machine. When the machine first cranks up, briefly, there is a bit of noise as the centrifuge spins up to speed, and a small amount of vibration, twice now I've been caught out by the cup, mug whatever sliding down and off the drip tray covering my counter top in coffee, and the second time the glass mug fell to the ground and broke. Nespresso were very good, I can't fault their customer support at all. Excellent, easy to contact, patient and polite, anyway they compensated me for my broken travel mug. Which was lovely. But the fact remains the drip tray is a loose fit, and does slope forward from the machine, so you have really to stand there and push your mug/cup back into place as it fills. Not a big deal really as I've found making even larger size drinks like Grande Lungo is pretty quick. But... definitely a design fault. I am looking at some way to level the tray up, I think a simple plastic spacer should do the job, but I am surprised a company the size of Nespresso would allow such a fault. It's only this that stops me giving five stars. If I was judging the coffee experience alone, with the many flavours it would get a five star review.

Absolutely love this coffee machine. I had a Vertuo Plus before and it kept failing, I was given two replacements in total. Switched to this one, never had a problem since and have had it for over 6 months and use it daily.

I've been using classic Nespresso capsules for years. When there was a really good sale on Prime Day I decided to give this machine a shot. The coffee is rich and comes out with a lot of crema. The taste is distinct from the original capsules. The machine itself is fantastic and has been working well so far. The machine understands the method of preparation by reading a circular bar code on the capsule itself.

I love this machine and wouldn't buy any other pod machine or other than nespresso pods
