Q: How long the shackle is?

Q: Key won't go in all the way! Something is stuck in the lock and won't open!! What do I do?

Cut the lock off with bolt cutters.

Q: Will this fit in 50 cal box the no screw method just locking it up is it wide enough i bought a 1-1/3 wasnt wide enough to fit..

This particular lock is narrow and would not fit if you can't connect together to secure lock.

Q: Is this weatherproof?

No the lock is not weatherproof. However, I spray the locks with a graphite lubricant. I spray the shackle with WD-40. I use these locks outdoors on my garbage cans as a deterrent for bears. They work for a long time, but there comes a time when you might have to saw them off. Have a cutoff tool, i.e, a grinder near by.
