I see most of the complaints about this guard are about poor fit. One really has to be careful to follow the instructions precisely. After immersing in boiled water for 45 seconds, you rinse it FOR LITERALLY ONE SECOND before centering it in your mouth in front of a mirror and biting down. Then hold for 2 minutes and you are done. What's so good about this guard? Well, apart from an amazing fit--better in my opinion than the one I had fitted at the dentist--the bottom of this guard (not the entire guard) is of a hardened material that adds to protection and durability. If you botch the instructions (and haven't we all at one time or another?) you can still try again, but after that it's a loss. But guess what? There's a coupon that comes with it for a one-time free replacement! That's looking after your customers. Great price on a quality dental guard. Just be meticulous with the instructions and you should be fine.

First fitting go around didn’t work. Even with two heatings of guard. It kinda fell apart. Upon recommendation I trimmed first device due to missing molars. Also recommended was for me to wear on lower teeth. That just didn’t work. Purchased another one didn’t trim and this time inserted tray while guard was still very warm. I think first time let it cool way more than I should have. Followed direction exact. The tray fitting felt warmer during fitting than first two fitting tries. Wore it last night on top teeth as designed for. Worked perfectly and didn’t even bother me. Thin and now a good fit. Really happy. Just wish I didn’t have to buy two to find out! Some said they got coupon for next purchase. But I did not. So paid full price twice. Great alternative if spending hundreds for dentist office mouth piece doesn’t work for you. In my second purchase didn’t get coupon either ?

I have bought and tried many of these types of products and this one is the best I've found. It's still probably not as good as the dental guard you would pay a dentist $300 for, but for only $20, it's great. It's still a bit bulky, but doesn't prevent me from going to sleep and stays in my mouth all night. I just had a new crown made and needed a new guard and I'm glad I found this particular model. I followed the directions exactly as they have listed and didn't have any problems. It seems to me that the first night, the guard didn't fit as nice as I'd like, but after that the guard seems to be perfect. This guard is actually made for the top teeth, but I use some scissors and trim off the front part and use it for my bottom teeth.

I ordered this because I grind my teeth at night. I grind hard enough that I cracked the night guard the dentist made for me a year and a half after I got it, which is only half the time before the insurance company will pay for a new one. After reading the rave reviews from people I decided to try and see if this would be a good interim product until I could get a real one from my dentist. When I got this one all fitted I started to think that it would work nicely. It was comfortable, when I bit down it seemed fairly durable. Then I tried the grinding motion. *SQUEAK-SQUEAK-SQUEAK* I might as well have an active mouse on a rusty wheel on my headboard. There would be no sleeping with that squeaking. Save the money you would spend on this and put it towards a dentist's visit.

Great product for teeth grinding but getting yellow after a couple of months despite cleaning daily.

I can’t afford to go to the dentist and pay for a 500$ sleep guard so I got this one. I originally got it at Walmart but they stopped carrying this brand so my last resort was Amazon and they had it CHEAPER than the store. This brand is my go to. It’s the only one that fits comfortable and isn’t too hard to fit

This is my second top mouthpiece purchased. My last one lasted a few days more than 6 months. Helps me with grinding of my teeth at night. I had just purchased a new mouth guard from dentist and it ended up in washing machine and all the $ down the drain. This is a good inexpensive option for me. Follow instructions and no issues.

I had to read the instructions a couple times, used my phone timer, too. I used the stove method. These generally last 6 weeks before I need to make a new one. Amazon's price was much better than the pharmacy.
