My hair stylist used this on me and it straightened my hair like a pro. I was expecting it to be some $200 ridiculousness, but what a pleasant surprise to find it here on Amazon for under $60!Pros: Heats up really fast, very thin design means you can get close to the roots, lightweight so your arm doesn't get sore holding it up, entire iron is long so your hand isn't close to the heat element, cord is really long, small and light enough to be packable.Cons: No auto-off function so DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG IT, no way to lock the plates together for travel or storage, gets incredibly hot. Maybe my other flat irons that say they went up to 450 didn't, because this sucker is HOT at the top temp. I'm used to using irons on the highest heat setting and it's not necessary on this flat iron. My thick, wavy hair was well straightened at 3!I bought the "Canada approved" version. I have no idea what that means. Works fine in the US because North America has the same electrical system :)

I previously owned this flat iron. The first one I had for quite a while, my hair was much longer at the time so I had the 1 1/4 in. It worked so well on my hair. When it broke I needed a new flat iron immediately so I ran to Ulta and purchased a decent flat iron. I never really liked it as much as this one, so I finally decided to go back to this iron. I am so happy I did. Right now we have really high humidity and my hair can get pretty big. This iron has done a great job of controlling the big hair. As long as they continue to make this flat iron I will buy it.

This product was a gift and my niece who is a hair dresser love the heat volume and the crisp look it gives. Didn't take a picture because I haven't seen her since she receive the gift. LOL

Easy to handle

This iron is great in the way that it straightens my hair really fast & really well. I've always used Chi & this makes looks Chi look like junk. My hair looks shiny, healthy & silky when I use it. However. It REALLY does get hot, so hot i burned my fingers. I read other reviews & thought other people were being fussy about this aspect of the iron. Not the case. My fingers aren't even up near the plates for it to feel too hot to touch. Also, it snags my hair as i'm pulling it through. I'm going to be returning this for a different brand just because for the price ($80 ), I can find something same price & better quality. I ordered an HSI online which is a recommendation by professional hair stylists.

I had bought this product in store for $75 then my daughter accidentally stepped on it and it broke. I finally tried to find the same model online. When I came across this I was a little skeptical but I ordered it anyway. I'm so happy I did! I saved money and my daughters hair is beautiful. Definitely a great buy. It also works well with thick, curly hair. Very happy.
