Made my daily work easier
Always hung off pouch with reinforced area on pouch.Saratoga standard vest. Right where I need it. Tethered with their tool laynard.Could be just a tad deeper for my impact (Dewalt--4 and 5 Amp hr battery used {as opposed to 2 Amp hr} ) and in most case stays put, even when slightly bending forward. Their retention system does what it suppose to do and it is easy on/off and did not take long feel natural when going to use tool.To aid in retention, added a zip tie to the right side of vest where I could hook the metal clip to keep it tighter to my body when not using. This aides in not having the handle swing out from body and sometimes make me think the elastic used to retain drill is on, when it's actually not.Love it, and with tool laynard, have not had tool fall to the ground, so longer service life expected.I do not normally use a large drill, but may have to compare its size, since I run larger batteries for extended run time. At almost twice the price, this setup does what it is suppose to do and makes my life easier.

Best holster for m12 impact
Best holster I've used. Works perfectly with my m12 impact driver and it can even hold my larger 20 volt hammer drill. The driver sits far enough forward so the holster won't press the trigger. The bit holder on the outside is a nice addition for my 1/4, 5/16 bits as well as bit extensions. (Isn't great for Phillips bits though, they'll eventually slip out)

Not a perfect product
atlas products are all quality, but I think this one needs improvement . It def helped me in instance where I needed a 3rd hand to holster my drill when fastening from a ladder. Problem with product is his much effort it takes to keep my dewalt impact driver in place . Trigger has to be set in middle safety position or it’ll react trigger OR it’ll fall out unless I use the bungie strap it comes with. Just not a perfect product. PerhAps could be more effective if using a lower voltage nose heavy impact drive with smaller battery. I now bought a metal air hose hook for my my belt and hang my drill By its belt hanger. Quicker that way for me .

Not what I ordered….again…3rd time
Ordered a left handed holster…and a different item arrived. By all accounts Atlas46 is losing money. The holster is about $60 the item I received goes for about $94…After the second go around, I contacted Amazon, a $10 credit and a promise this won’t happen a third time…I returned it and today received the wrong item again for the third time in two weeks. Chat line was advised of a apparent cross-reference item issue and said they would correct it and make a note on my account…

Good product
I would have liked if pricing was closer to the price advertised by Atlas 46

Love it.
This drill holster is great. It should hold up for years. It fits my Makita hammer drill perfectly.

Well made, but too small for even 12v drills
Well-made, but too small to hold even a 12v drill/impact securely for anyone who's moving around/climbing ladders/etc. There's an elastic strap that will hold things securely, but moving it every time you need to use a drill is tedious. The larger version of this holster is perfect for both my m12 and m18 impacts. They ride securely without using the strap in that one.
