Case for iPad 2/3/4

Got this as a replacement for the worn out case on my old iPad 2 and it works like a champ! Sure, it may not be quite as high in quality as the Apple smart case I have on my iPad 3 and 4, but for $9.99 vs around $50 how can I complain? The differences - harder shell, which is not bad at all and fits very well, a "smart" cover that appears to be similar to the Apple version, works the same way (in other words, neither offer many standing angles,) with a very slight difference in the way it is cut and perhaps a little looser in the "hinge area," yet still works well, and turns the iPad on and off just like the Apple case. If I ever replace the cover on my iPad 3 or 4 I would not hesitate to buy this one and save the money. Even if it doesn't last as long (yet to be determined - I think it will do pretty well,) I can buy 5 of these to one of Apple's!!!! Love the free market and competition! Update on September 5, 2014: Using this case heavily during the last month, including a two+ week to China, it's holding up well despite being tossed around and shoved into my backpack numerous times. It still looks and feels like new with no wear at all. One thing I have noticed is the smart-cover does not work as well as the Apple version. Just picking it up I often hear the click sound which tells me the iPad is turning off/on. Despite this shortcoming, I'm still happy with the case, especially considering the great price.

I’ve repurchased this case two or three times now. That isn’t to say anything bad about the quality but rather the opposite. I’m a very clumsy person. I drop my iPad on accident all the time, usually from a height that makes me cringe to pick it back up. But my iPad has somehow managed to survive. I first bought this after I broke my $70 Apple brand case. This JETech one is only about $10 and lasts me, with my butterfingers, over a year before I have to repurchase. Now I’m sure that sounds like a bad thing, but it isn’t. Yes, the case breaks if you’re hard on it, but for the price you really can’t complain. And the quality is amazing. It’s sleek and minimalistic and I love that the front cover has the sleek/wake function. The stand that the front cover folds into allows the iPad to stand two ways, and even with my clumsiness, the stand always folds up and holds. What happens if you drop it a lot? The plastic corners, which clip onto the iPad and hold it on, will break off. This case isn’t marketed as a protective, fall resistant, otter box variety (which admittedly I probably need). But it’s just so beautiful and the price is so fantastic that I can foot the ten dollars every year or so. So if you’re not as clumsy as I am, I highly recommend. And if you are as clumsy as I am, know it’ll hold up for a right good while.

I wanted a simple black case to replace an old Otterbox case that we kept on our iPad when the kids were younger. This Jetech iPad case fit perfectly! The buttons line up, the case covers the tablet well, and the screen sleep feature works as it should when you close the case. I paid $11.99 + tax for this case, $12.86 total, and it seems like a fair price for this case. I am not sure how long it will last or how well it will hold up. Hopefully it will last a bit longer this time since the kids are a bit older! :-D

I purchased this to replace my original Apple Smart Cover and Speck Smart Shell case which is right around 4 years old. The cover started separating and the case was starting to crack. I was looking for a replacement of the same or something very close. I like the folding cover to prop it up while I watch movies. This product looked exactly like what I had except the two are one piece. I gave it 4 stars because while the sides are well protected, the top and bottom are not so much. What do I mean by that? The Speck case wrapped around the sides forming a lip. This case only has a lip on the sides and not the top and bottom. Also the cover part feels a bit cheaply made, not like the Apple Smart Cover (of course that one is made of leather, so it is hard to compare the two). On the bright side, the case itself feels sturdy. So far so good, but I have not been using it for to long, so If something comes up, I will post an update. -----UPDATE----- So the other week I noticed that my iPad was coming out of the case when I had it propped up. Come to find out that part of the bottom corner pieces (when propped up) broke off. I email JETech and they asked for pictures. I emailed them pictures of the damaged corners and they wrote back to me saying that they are sending me a replacement. A few days later I get it in the mail and so far so good (it has been close to 2 weeks now). My 4 stars has not changed. The case is the exact same as the one I got from Amazon. I am not going to deduct any stars, because they stand behind product and replaced it, but if it happens again how long are they going to replace it?

This case has all the features my original Apple case from 10 years ago had. Now I can extend the life of my very old iPad, which at this point I mainly use for Kindle and Nook. This design is visually cleaner than the Apple case, although I suspect its use of plastic may be less sustainable. The greater rigidity of the plastic holds the iPad better.

It is sleek looking and yet very functional. My old case would not stand anymore properly - This one is very sturdy and operates exactly how I was hoping too. Good quality. Very happy of the item for a very small price

Good product which snugly fitted in my IPAD3. A bit heavy but I like it because of good finish.

Awesome product. I dropped my iPad recently from a height of about three quarters of a metre (75cm) and was surprised to find the the iPad and this cover were both intact. It is a great value for 💰 Just a note of caution : it is a bit smooth and slippery on the outside for my liking.
