A happy find
I had never heard of the Wally McDoogle series before, but stumbled across it doing an internet search for good Christian reads for kids (especially boys). My son has loved reading this series! They are quick, easy reads, very entertaining and, best of all, family friendly.

Adventurous Story Line
Out of the first four books, this one has the most adventurous story line. While on a mission trip with his father, Wally learns many lessons along the way, including how to survive in uncertain times. It was a neat story to open the subject of mission trips to a middle school age group.

Funny, entertaining series of books
If your kids like funny stories about misadventures this is for you. This is a nice series of books that will have the youngsters listening and laughing about the antics that take place. Was fun for the whole family to listen to on trips and can also be used alone for those times that you need a break! Recommend it highly.

VERRY FUNNY
My Life as Crocodile Junk Food (by Bill Myers) is a truly hilarious book. I really like his superhero stories. Wally travels to a South American rain forest and makes some new friends. I especially like the part where he meets George the savage. It's another mishap for Wally-if-it-can-break-crash-or-blow-up-it-will-Mcdoogle. If you haven't read it, I suggest you do.
