The look of the lights is great! Clearly good quality and a big difference between this and others. Unfortunately, I did not understand this was not fire-rated so I have to return, but the seller was patient and quick to respond to queries. Had I not required a fire-rated ceiling, I would have chosen these items as they are clearly superior to other products out there

Lovely, these were for an alcove lighting feature about textured/split-face tiles, and having them recessed like this makes the effect much nicer as it reduces glare from the face of the LED bulbs - obviously you need to ensure you have the height in the void above them as they do intrude into the void more than most I will say that, for what they are, they are a little expensive but there was not much else on the market available at short notice. The luminary seems a little "flimsy" in the way the electrical connector hooks onto the fitting via the spring clip, but this is only a minor issue, just need to be careful when inserting/removing from the cutout hole.

Good quality item - but they should do a better job advertising this fixture uses MR11 bulbs, so your regular GU10 bulbs (size code PAR16) won't fit these. Didn't even realise there are different size GU10s, but MR11s this fixture needs not only are a different shape, but also not as powerful - most are 3W, 250lm, as opposed to my regular 4W, 350lm bulbs rest of the house. I'll keep it anyway, but new buyers should know.

I'm an electrician and I installed these in my own bedroom. Perfect.

The lights look lovely but unfortunately they don’t come with fire hoods so we’ve now got to wait for our electrician to come back with compatible hoods
