Does it control perspiration?

Yes but you may want to try certain dri; KMF is good because of the non allergenic status, I don't break out with it; I don't either with CD but will if I use it three days or more in a row. I have to keep changing around because of my allergies to fragrances.

Alcohol free product?

I don't see alcohol mentioned on the product unless it's hidden in some other ingredient. I've been using it for over a year and have not had a problem, however, my allergies are mainly with fragrances.

Is this deodorant a clear solid or a white solid?

The solid is actually translucent or frosted - not white or clear. It is completely invisible and not white on my skin with only a slightly moist appearance. Best, most effective Al and fragrance free deodorant I've found after trying several.
