It works and good price
They do what they are supposed to do but keep in mind u can't use a filter on your camera and use this lens at the same time isn't a big deal for me so no point in taking off a star

Very hard to untwist once on but other than that they are wonderful and work really good

The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great for the price. The small threads sometimes may make it difficult to attach/detach. The adjustable ring allows for proper fit and positioning. Also works on external focus lenses. Just remember the entire hood will spin reducing the effectiveness of reducing lens flare. It’s not reversible to stow on the lens and does not allow for lens cap protection

works with occasional slight vignetting at 24mm if not mounted just right
I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the canon hood. I work 4 days a week in a studio and became kind of annoyed with having to thread the hood on every day. I also noticed some minor vignetting if it wasn't screwed all the way down. in the end, I purchased a canon hood anyway. the fact that they click onto the lens backwards for storage, snap on instead of threading, and don't have any issues with vignetting made the decision to just pay the extra money worth it for me. This hood might work just fine for photographers that leave their hood on all the time, but for me the inconvenience was annoying enough to upgrade.

Solid lens hood.
This lens hood is pretty solid. Does what it should do. I don't like that the threaded ring is plastic, would be great if this were aluminum. It would really be a win if anyone made a tulip style lightweight aluminum hood. Fuji, get on this.
