this speaker is awesome!!!!! Could not imagine more, especially for this $$
This speaker puts out great sound (even better with two in stereo!). It fills the room with beautiful sound. Two in stereo are even better.I did have a little trouble with connectivity, but even though I am not super tech-savvy, I got it worked out. (Update: one time I had to re-boot my phone to get it to link up, not sure why.) Downloading the app allows you to make a few adjustments, such as adjust bass, mids and treble, which I appreciate, because it was set at too much bass for me. I compared the sound with my old but top-quality Yamaha stereo system and found it hard to tell them apart.I like that there are speakers on both sides of the unit. This allows you to turn the name/logo to the back if you wish (some speakers 'scream' their name at you). It is a hefty weight, and therefore seems well-built.It goes off after about 20-25 minutes of inactivity. You can turn off all sounds in the app, which is great for retreats, bedtime, etc when you do not want operational sounds interrupting your quiet.Though the battery indicator is not always on, the exact level also shows in the app. You can also check it by quickly pressing the on/off button when the speaker is on. It has 5 bars that show up when it is full. So, each bar represents 20% of battery storage. They blink while charging, so you can watch charging progress (even without opening the app).Battery life seems good and in a pinch, it will charge your phone!!Update: I now have 2 of these for stereo sound. The instructions for linking them together for stereo are not clear.1. You must have only ONE speaker paired to Bluetooth. That one 'feeds' sound to the other once they are linked.2. With both speakers turned on and music playing out of the paired one, simultaneously press the power and volume down buttons on BOTH speakers at the same time for a few seconds. In a few more seconds, the 2nd speaker will pick up the other channel. If you do not want phone calls and other notifications interrupting your listening time, you may need to figure out how to stop them without using "Do Not Disturb", since that setting (on my phone, at least) shuts off the phone's sound output altogether (including output to the speaker[s]). I finally got around the incoming calls issue (the tough one) by forwarding all calls to VM. (Also need to turn off other apps' sound notifications.)

Excellent Quality Speaker!!!
Ive had this speaker for about 4-5 months now, and all I can say is that it's amazing!!! The battery life is ok, lasts for around 4 hrs if it is turned up all the way. I was under the impression that I could get at least 8-10 hrs, and maybe you can if it's not turned up all the way, but the way I listen to music, it's gotta be up most of the way, or all the way. The sound is phenomenal. I was impressed the first time I heard it, and I still am everytime i listen to it. The EQ setting are great and adds all the perfect highs and lows exactly where they are needed. Also the build quality is very strong and feels like a very expensively built speaker!

A good little portable speaker:
Klipsch is an American audio company that makes everything from portable speakers to high-end stereo speakers and other audio products. They also have a commercial arm that produces equipment for professional use.I live in a house with a lot of tech in it so there are a lot of signals bouncing around. I had to take my JBL portable speaker to the place we rent in Mexico because the signal interference was making it a paperweight. This speaker operates on a frequency that doesn’t get the same interference. It has very good sound for its size. There’s an app that you can download for free that allows you to change the bass, midrange and treble settings, as well as get firmware updates. I tested it with albums that were engineered by the best in the industry today; British musician and engineer, Steven Wilson; and Bob Clearmountain, American audio engineer and one of the top engineers in the world. I also listened to different types of music from soft rock to heavy metal. I don’t listen to hip-hop or anything like it because it’s a musical race to the bottom and I don’t waste my time with crap produced by rich kids who pretend they’re from the streets. So if that’s your thing you might want to pump up the bass for these musical bottom feeders. I did listen to both old and new music and I found the balance good right out of the box. I might change my mind and I can use the app if I choose to do so. It came almost fully charged and it can get louder than I need with good clarity. No complaints.

A durable speaker with rich sound even if they know where you are
Durable and well built. The "power on" sound offers promise, but to achieve that potential you'll need to use the equalizer in the Klipsch Connect phone app. It's because of the app that I'm only giving this speaker 4 stars. To use the equalizer the app needs to be given location permission. It says location access is to "automatically find your product". I know where the speaker is, I just want to be able to use the equalizer. To me this is a privacy issue. I'm sure the app developers could separate the functions (location & equalizer), but they haven't so I'm dinging them a star. That's it them - I'm grabbing my speaker and heading outside to sit in the sun and enjoy my music.

Sounds GREAT!!!!
Klipsh products Sound great!! I've had a bigger one for 15 years now. It sounds SO good I don't feel the need for a regular stereo. I use it outside, inside but it was a bit of a pain to plug in. This little one is battery powered and packs a punch. It's got surprisingly good bass for being so small. I love it. I use when I'm working outside and I'm going to take it on my trip next week. Gotta have my theme music. Don't leave home without it!!

Love saying Klipsch. lol
Great little portable speaker! If you like to play it outside and loud... who doesn't... it is kind of a battery hog. For the price it is good enough. Plus I love saying Klipsch.

Sounds good rugged easy to use
Good sound, better than 6 y o wonderboom (imo), not the highest bar-but it’s easy to use, sounds good, was accidentally left out in rain and is perfectly fine.
