Excellent water filter, I just wish the filter was stainless steel like the Aarke (which does not filter the # of containments this does) to have the least amount of contact with plastic possible. I love the thick glass; the 7-cup pitcher is a good size for daily use for 1-2 people. The pitcher looks beautiful on the counter and the water tastes very “clean.”For anyone complaining about the filtration speed — it’s seriously not that slow and one thing to remember is that any filter that filters what this one claims to do will not be fast. The point is to *actually filter water*, that’s why it takes awhile.

I read a number of reviews before ordering this. I know all types of water filters tend to be slow since the water does have to go through the filtration process. I’ve used faucet type, an under counter one, and the built into the frig door ones. NONE of them are fast when dispensing.We ended up relocating and my water is now hard and leaves those ugly whitish deposits. Waterlines in this area are old with lead likely too.This water pitcher filters many of the contaminates. While I would prefer a more permanent solution, this is the more economic and practical choice for now. I went thru the initial cleaning directions and this water was fairly slow the first several times but has gotten to a reasonable speed similar to all the types I have used over the years.When I feel like I will need more capacity due to guests, I decant the filtered water into another carafe to have more on hand.The pitcher fits into the door of my counter depth frig. You may want to check the height clearance of your shelf. The silicone cover on the bottom is a plus since this is glass. I wish the decanters ordered had those as well.I prefer to avoid the chemicals released by plastics, so this seems to be a good solution.Another reviewer mentioned adding additional replacement water over the day. This works pretty well for us. I find it will allow me to enter 2-2 1/2 cups at a time (it takes a few minutes to process thru the filter, if I think about it in a few minutes I add another one if it was very low). My household consists of 2. If I had more family still around the extra decanter would help.One last note- filled this weighs slightly over 6 pounds. I have severe arthritis and this is tolerable to grip and lift, more would be pushing it.

I gave this a 4 star only because it takes forever to fill up. The taste is great. I love the glass pitcher for avoiding micro plastics and the size. However; the filter cap NEEDS to be redesigned. It currently has a single hole and takes about an hour to empty into the pitcher. When I need to fill my Keurig, and use the entire pitcher, it will take the entire day to refill. This is a hassle when I need a glass of water to drink but the pitcher hasn’t refilled. In my opinion, the cap needs to have 4 to 6 holes in it to speed up the process of refilling the pitcher.I am happy I made this purchase, just wish it was more effecient.

It doesn’t filter water, so I wouldn’t recommend this product. I’m assuming this was why there was a deal on Amazon to buy two at a lower cost. I thought it was a good deal at the time, and now I realize they were being sold for a deal because they are faulty.

Have been looking for a glass water filter for a while and I absolutely love this one! Stylish look and great tasting filtered water.

I wanted a water filter pitcher so that I didn’t have to purchase water in plastic containers and then have to dispose of that plastic. I also knew I wanted a glass container. This is perfect. Easy to fill and refill, looks nice on my countertop, and helps me with my goal to drink more water. The first time you run water through the filters, it takes quite a while to completely run through. But after that initial run the process is pretty quick. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This pitcher has worked great for me. I'm always happy with the water it makes.

Large capacity. Does take awhile to fill but I am okay with that because I know my water is being super filtered. Love that this pitcher is made of glass and the slip proof bottom is very pretty.
