I know nothing of the product you mention. I do know this tiny fan sits under a tv box and shoots up air. It has 3 speeds and is whisper quiet. I like it ALOT. ALL I KNOW

how thick of board can it be mounted on?

Can this run 24hrs a day?

Yes you can,I don't know how long it will last ,but yes you can leave it running 24 hours a day...I have had it running 2 days non stop,bUT that's the longest I had it running,now it's just 8 to ten hours a day that I have it running

when the small usb fan is pluged into ny samsung tv will it go on and off with the tv?

it was powered by USB port, if you turn off the TV, it will be off, but if you open TV sleep mode, it will go on
