Do I need to protect the ceiling liner from the spray? Just don’t want to create a stain.

The product is dispersed in a very finely atomized spray. As long as you do not spray it directly on the ceiling/headliner from a very close distance you will be fine.

There was a rat infestation in a vehicle that i own. its been professionally cleaned but it still stinks a bit. will this eliminate that smell?

If the cause of the odor has been sufficiently cleaned/removed this might very well do the trick.

Can this be used in house?

Yes, but keep in mind you may need more than one depending on the size of the room.

Will this leave a residue on my windows?

I’ve used this at least 7 times in my car and saw no residue on any of the interior of the car.
