DawnNon Concentrated Original Dishwashing Liquid, 12.6 Fluid Ounce 3 per Order

I have been using this product for many years now. It does an excellent job with cleaning, and is very gentle to your skin. I am very sensitive to many soaps, but this one never causes any problems. I can highly recommend it.

Don't overlook the fact that this product, unlike most dish detergents, has two different uses:1.) Washing dishes; and:2.) Washing hands.(Read the fine print on the front label.)So it seems to offer an extra measure of protection during the pandemic—assuming, that is, that an anti-BACTERIAL hand soap has any practical utility at all as an anti-VIRAL agent! (Am I presuming too much?)But, frankly, I only use it occasionally for handwashing, usually just when returning home after having been out and about, and having touched numerous surfaces or objects. It's really just too harsh to use on my skin for every handwashing, especially in the colder, dryer months.And, of course, a very thorough handwashing with plain old bar soap, and lots of water, is probably just as efficacious. (I recommend DOVE for the cold, dry months, for protecting skin.)As for dishwashing, this version of Dawn does seem to have the same grease-cutting power of its blue-colored sibling (which isn't touted as an antibacterial hand soap)—with the great advantage of having a much more pleasant fragrance. (I can't stand the smell of that blue stuff!)But whether this product's "apple blossom scent" is true to life, I couldn't say. (And I grew up in a house that had two big apple trees in the yard—but I have no recollection of the fragrance of those flowers.) I think this particular Dawn scent could reasonably be characterized as industrially-concocted and well within the normal spectrum of fragrances found in American household cleaning products.But the product is pricey. (So I generally get by just fine mostly washing dishes with Dermassage—which has its own very innocuous fragrance.)

This product is good and a favorite brand of a family member who is elderly. I ordered this for her and had it sent to her. Unfortunately the order came incorrectly. We had ordered a 2 pack 19.4 each bottle (38.8 Fl. Oz. Total) but what came was 1 large 38.8 fluid oz bottle. The amount of TOTAL product was correct but it was supposed be 2 19.4 bottles. The bottle was too heavy for her to lift due to age and arthritis so had to have a neighbor come over and split the large bottle into two. This was inconvenient and a nuisance so I subtracted a star. Not for quality of product, but for getting the order incorrect.

Hard to find. In reviews on cleaning CPAP machine equipment, BLUE DAWN came up several times. But it was stressed that it Must Be the Basic Blue Dawn. A gentle cleaner. NOT ULTRA….It costs less than CPAP cleaners.
