Very tough
I'm not sure what these are intended for. I have quite a bit of experience in sausage making with natural casings.These are so tough you can hardly chew them. I made brauts and you can hardly bite through the casing while in a bun. The only option is to use a knife and fork and the casing is still anoyingly chewy. My wife won't even eat them.
