I thought having a built in preamp was so you could use it with a set of powered speakers without having to have a separate amp/system to plug into?

I have a pair of Sony tower speakers with built in amplifier connected to the denon deck and it works perfectly.Merry Christmas.

Can it convert the analog to digital format?

Good Afternoon, This turntable does not have a USB connection and is unable to transfer from analogue to digital. tyler, the creator has never sounded so good

bought this for my first proper setup. paired with the denon SC-N10 speakers and denon RDCM41DAB amplifier. looks so cool and is easy to connect everything. sounds amazing, as well, to my untrained ear.

This is NOT the DP29FE2, so no MP3 etc.

I knew it was not the DP29FE2 from reading other reviews. Perfectly good entry level turntable, compact size, at a good price. Bought to go with a Denon M41 for the old vinyl collection.

Budget introduction to vinyl

Bought this for my son who has a good seperates system which he uses to play his cds he has over the years collected records from bands he liked that were only available on vinyl this record player for the price gives him exactly what he wants good playback easy to use automatic turntable no worrying about cueing up just press start and away he goes build quality is good dust cover fitted well you have to keep the cartridge and can only replace the stylus but in my opinion if you were going to upgrade it would be when you wanted a more audiophile grade deck like a project or rega but if your just getting into vinyl or only have a few records from your younger days then this is great value for money its made by denon so is a name with a reputation to maintain and really for 120 quid you can't go wrong

Great value for money

After our old record player finally gave up after 40 years the reviews on this and the price made us give it a go .Very easy to set up , nice and neat - not too bulky and plays records with great sound .We have connected it to our bose speaker via an amp .Quick delivery and packaged very well , worth every penny .

Brilliant sound.

Fantastic turntable plays my old 'album collection brilliantly. New albums are even better. The turntable is fully automatic as you only have to press the start button for the disc to rotate and the tone arm to lightly go down on the record.. Sound quality is great with no surface noise that I can hear. All in all a great piece of equipment and very highly recommend.
