Rust-Oleum 286793-6PK Automotive Universal Bonding Primer Spray, 12 oz, Flat WhiteThis is a BONDING Primer Spray. This is for surfaces that have not been prepped for paint before and will help the paint bond to the surface.One NOTE:The spray pattern is not large, rather small and it delivers a little over average amount of primer when spraying. So do a test piece to be aware of how to apply this.I went back to wet sand but this primer applies very smooth. It did not require wet sanding to smooth the primer. Works much better than expected
Completely surprised at how well this bonded and filled in the small defects. Cut down on sanding time. Excellent product.

Quality
I like that it comes in white and has really good coverage. Downfall is price but sometimes quality is worth extra.

Didn't apply as smoothly as I expected
Got this to do some minor body repairs.Received in good condition.Easy to apply but left a somewhat textured finish ( not sure why ) needed to sand smoothBeen a month so far still looks good

Very similar product to the Universal primer product.
There's a slight difference by the MSDS, but the performance seems the same.

Wrong color, doesn’t cover well
Description said flat grey, and I received white. Really doesn’t matter much, but I did want grey. Also, it didn’t seem to cover as well as other primers. I had to use several coats when typically a single coat of other rust oleum primers does the job.
