My cats love this and will try to eat it out of the jar.I got this because I have 9 cats - one is a male that has a history of a bladder blockage, one has a heart condition that causes fluid build up internally, and three get feline idiopathic cystitis whenever they're stressed (usually by each other) and end up with blood in their urine. (The remaining 4 cats don't have any known bladder or fluid issues, but I doubt this would do them any harm and probably helps their kidneys function better.) Demannose was recommended by the vet to deal with all the urinary issues, and this powder is an easy way to give it to them by simply mixing it into their food. (We can even coat their Uretic kibble with it as well as mix it into wet food.)This powder helps with all these issues. The easiest to monitor is the blood in the urine. Whenever I notice they have blood in their urine, I start giving them this. Within 2-3 days, the cats are noticably less distressed, and they generally stop spraying/inappropriately peeing and there's no longer blood in their urine. So, I think this is a great option for chronic issues that don't require antibiotics.

My cat was urinating outside of the litter box. He's a neutered male, so I figured it was either stress or a uti/blockage. Before taking him to the vet I gave this a shot and I'm glad it did because it worked amazing. He LOVED it. Like psycho cat loved it. It's been months and he hasnt gone outside of the litter box again.

My cat was diagnosed with urine crystals and heard this was good. For some reason, none of my cats like this and would not eat their food when I added it to it. I know D-mannose is definitely good not only for cats but humans also, but this one is definitely not for my cats. Was hoping it would have been better tasting.

I have been using this product for about a month now. My poor Honey Bear was peeing every 2 feet with little to no luck and she wanted out to use the potty every 15 mins. She couldn't sleep and neither could we. Come morning I got her into an ER. They ran all kinds of tests gave her fluids and sent us on our way with a UTI. Well so we thought! A week after her symptoms disappeared we were back to square one!! Another trip to her regular vet. Tested her urine no bacteria present. But gave me a round of antibiotics anyway and said he thought she may have a stress issue. Another week of peace and then she started again only this time 2 days in she now has blood in her urine. So I search for another solution. I ordered this after our second visit to see a doc. Honey loves the flavor of this product. She got 3 scoops a day for a week then I decreased it to 2 for a week. Now we're gonna try 1 this week. I have my fingers crossed. I am also giving her a product made by Feliway. She gets 2 of those also. This week she's suppose to go down to 1. I also put the plug ins everywhere she likes to rest. She's still not her old self but much better. We have multiple cats and she and our oldest co-inhabit but are not friends. I think its the age difference. There is six years between them. I hope this is helpful. If you are going through something similar please take the baby to the doctor. They can be a big help. I might have to put my baby on a prescription diet. We will see and good luck.

Got this for out cats to help with her UTI and she's been on it a week. No signs of helping at all. As for the taste my cat didn't have a problem eating it. For the price I paid I'll be asking for a refund. They really should tell you that if your cats have an UTI infection depending on the strain this might not help at all. Good luck to any who try this and works for them. But I can say it didn't for me unfortunately.

Third jar. Not sure if it's doing much good. That being said the cats do seem to like the taste and it's easier to use than liquid drops. I'll probably continue to use it at least for a while since some holistic treatments take longer to work.

I didn't leave stars for flavor because he isn't crazy about it.. I mix a scoop with about 0.5 to 1 cc of water in a little shot glass ( as little as possible to thin it out) then I draw it up with a 3 cc syringe and put it in his mouth... He doesn't throw a fit. This is my 2nd jar of it... About a year ago my male kitty got very sick and was barely voiding.. He would go void and minutes later was going back to void again... He had little drops of blood... I was petrified and called his vet to see if I could get him in asap... they said it would be 2 weeks.. I was crying saying he wouldn't make it that long! They still wouldn't see him.. ( that vet is FIRED). There is a emergency pet Vet so I went there but it's not available to new patients.. ugh I called every vet within 50 miles and no one would help me... I got online and googled his problem and this came up as a treatment so I got it with expedited shipping... I gave him 1 scoop 3 times a day for 3 days as directed and then the 1 scoop a day... when he was better I didn't make him take it anymore... Several months later he had the problem again so I started giving it to him again.. I read male cats can be prone to blockages.. I am a retired RN . I started giving him this stuff again but after a few days he was still having problems so I shaved his peri area and examined him to see if I could see or feel anything.. After that he did start to void better.. This time I didn't ever stop giving him on scoop daily.. Knock on wood ( knocking on my head) he has not had any problems for a long time! I HIGHLY Recommend this especially if you have a male kitty...
