ACDelcoProfessional 18K1774 Rear Drum Brake Shoe Adjuster and Return Spring Kit

I used this hardware kit when installing new brake drums and shoes on my 2015 Jeep Compass. I figured it would be best to just get the new hardware rather than hope the old hardware would still be solid. I'm glad I bought this kit, it was relatively inexpensive and all the pieces worked perfectly. No problems with fitment or performance. I put all the old parts in a box to have as backups in case I need them in the future. If you're doing a drum brake replacement on your Jeep, do yourself a favor and get the new parts. You never know when a spring is going to break or get bent, and you can't put the brakes back together without ALL the pieces.

This was just right. Definitely worth ordering these parts in addition to the actual brakes. It's a pain for non professionals to do drum brakes anyway, might as well have the extra springs and parts handy in case some have rusted. Note: not all the parts were exactly the same size as the originals, such as the springs, but they would have worked just fine as replacements. Would definitely buy again.

I liked the price of this kit most of all. It's best to replace these parts when you replace the shoes. The only thing I was put off by was that the Bottom Spring was different than the Jeeps original equipment spring, having to reuse the old one.
