Where to start…I bought the 10.5 inch skillet over 2 years ago and couldn’t be happier! A joy to look at and a pleasure to cook with. I did a lot of research before buying and if you’re after a premium skillet made in the USA you can’t beat Stargazer IMO. It’s a feature packed skillet too, the long stay cool handle, non spill edge, large helper handle and that micro-textured smooth cooking surface. Having never cooked with cast iron, it took some adjusting with cooking (long preheat, low temp, no acidity) and care (clean with chain mail scrubby, re season with Trex) but it feels great knowing I’ve got a skillet that’s going to be passed down in the family for generations unlike the non stick equivalents! Can’t wait for the 13.5 inch braised to be available in the UK!

Great so far! This has made it pretty easy to just make home fries, caramelized onions, to put cauliflower right under the broiler and any other random typical cast iron cooking tasks. I like the smoother base, I do feel like it's easier to separate food and this has been great.

I bought the 12 inch. The appearance made me happy. It’s a beauty, and It is well made. Cooked great right out of the box. Handle stays cool, which was a major reason I purchased the skillet. Looking forward to many happy years of cooking with it. No dislikes. It’s a little hefty, but manageable. Cleans up easily. I made a good decision with this one!

This cast iron skillet lives up to its name as being non stick. We followed the directions that came with the pan and clean up is a breeze. It is also much lighter than our other cast iron skillets. The only downside for us was the inability to set it flat in the sink to clean because of the longer handle, but we are "handling" this issue. It is pricy but so far, very worth it.

I have been using Lodge cast iron for years but always wanted to get something nicer to cook with. I purchased a 10.5” Stargazer pan to try out because I like the features like the long handle that will cradle a cooking utensil, smooth finish, and pourable rim. It’s made in the USA which is very important to me. I’m planning to buy the 12” and 13.5” in the future. These are premium pans and come with a price tag but I feel these are well worth the money especially for an investment that will last forever and become a family heirloom.

The pan is great but big patches of the factory seasoning came off after the first cook. I strongly recommend adding your own seasoning before using heavily. I reseasoned and it came out a beautiful looking pan and now cooks amazingly. Handle does a decent job at dissipating heat but you'll still need a cover for longer, hotter cooks. The only downside was the handle shape; super awkward in the hand and not very comfortable. Overerall, though, it's an excellent pan and great value. Highly recommend.
