Hid one in the headrest good line of site to the windows so signal not blocked. Accurate to within 10m to 50m. So you need to replace the battery every year no big deal no subscription. Anti stalking would not activate you will have it in lost mode at that point. You would never hear it stuffed up inside a headrest or under a roof liner. Beats GPS as it will work in an underground car park. GPS needs to see the sky this just needs someone with an iPhone to walk past. Brilliant car tracker no monthly fee. I also have one on my Sons bike. Hidden under a tool bag hard to find compared to under the seat. Tracking works great. Hope that helps.

As long as your iPhone is running a minimum operating system version of iOS 14.5 onwards it will work. For detailed find mode you need an iPhone 11 onwards which have the U1 chip inside.

Q: Any one know what the furthest distance it is it will work?

With Bluetooth -the claim is around 35 feet. That’s been my experience as well. If it is somewhere else: like the gym/park - it pings off other iPhones so you’ll get an approximate place and maybe memory will kick in.
