Originally gave a 1 star but had to come back in fairness. Appeared like the threads were crooked as it would not go in straight and the original screw would. (Threads on the bike looked good too). Ordered one from a US company (not on Amazon) and was surprised to have the same issue. The bolt is longer than the factory screw, so I was unable to see that issue with the oem screw. Ran a a tap through the hole and problem solved for both of them. If it seems like the threads are not correct tap the your threads, chances are its the same problem. Looks good and seems well made

Perfect fit. Easy Install
Great item. It replaces the seat screw on my Harley Freewheeler. Now, if I need to access my battery, I don't have to find a very large Phillips Hear screw driver. I simply unscrew the screw by hand. Just to be on the safe side I put a generous amount of Drylock on the new screw before installing.

Need to add a washer
I really like these. Nice quality. I order 2, one chrome and one gloss black. The base was too small and fit through the seat tab. I had to get a chrome washer (easy to find at Menards) and make a black washer (no gloss painted available).

Seat Bolt
Chrome bolt looks great! Nicely machined with nureled grip, came with assortment of washer, lock washer, and rubber washer. Installation was easy as well as removal. 30 mile functionality test, proved that it will stay in place. Great value for the price!

Poor fit
Looks nice but is way too long to fit the female receiver. Came with washers but really doesn’t work on my Harley.
