I bought these for my wedding last weekend. The idea was for people to take pictures throughout the evening so we could have a few instant photos of the event. I was a bit worried that people would not know how to take a photo with this camera because I tried it myself and it seemed more difficult than I expected. So I put a few people in charge of teaching others how to use it.Despite this strategy, chaos ensued. People kept pressing the power button instead of the photo button. People kept asking if the camera took the photo or not, how long to pose for, and when the photo would come out. It takes like 45 seconds before it spits out your photo with no indication (sound, light, etc) to notify you of the status. Because of this unbearable pause, people just try taking new photos. Sometimes it spit out these additional photos and sometimes it does not. There is no consistency. Most photos wound up decapitating people's heads. The photo color created a sort of demonic ambiance.However, it was these issues that caused many guests to bond throughout the night. The confusion surrounding this product and photos generated from it caused many hearty laughs. It's clunky process has created a nostalgic memory.

Got this for our daughters birthday. She is 4. She loves to take pictures with this as it gives her some understanding that she has a finite set of pictures she can take and they should be important when she clicks the button. She has gone through a few picture packets and has taken some really cool pictures. The picture quality is good for this device and you can make out most of the detail but don't expect it be super detailed. Who cares it's a kids camera and it's durable, looks and feels cool, easy to learn and operate by a 4 year old and when she is playing with it she really does not need a lot of adult supervision. So far this device works great and she loves it!

Tl;Dr: This is a good LOOKING product, and does exactly what it says it will. However, photo quality is not at all what it should be, and the mechanics are quite finicky. If you must have an instant-develop camera, keep looking.I researched instant-print cameras and this was supposed to be a good choice if you want a photo larger than two postage stamps put together. Unfortunately, more research after I got it home and tried it out (and assumed I must be doing something wrong) tells me that no, it's just not a good product for what it's supposed to do: take and print photos.The quality of the pictures is terrible. Blurry, with washed out colors, and color that is just plain incorrect (a medium jewel purple came out almost pastel, etc). The lack of control over flash is a serious flaw as the camera's sensor seems to think it needs to go off any time you're indoors and not in the very brightest of lighting, so on top of everything the photos often come out seriously over-exposed. I get the feeling you'd get much better results taking pics from about six feet away (as is the intended use), but didn't waste more film trying that out.You're better off snapping pictures with your phone and taking a few extra seconds to just print them out in a small size. Very disappointed. Really wanted this to work so I could easily take pictures for journaling, but the photo quality is a non-starter, especially for the price.In addition:- The button to take a photo is VERY sensitive, so don't hold your finger anywhere near it until you're ready to take a picture- The frame in the viewfinder is extreeeemely inaccurate for photos that are taken within a few feet of the subject. I went through probably three to five shots before I figured out how to take them without getting several inches cut off of each side.- Definitely get extra film out of the gate (and I recommend a little case, too, otherwise it's just sitting out waiting to get scratched or banged around). The starer pack mine came with had five sheets, not ten, and I went through all of them just on the learning curve.

I wanted to love this! I got it for my 6 year old for christmas and while she loves it, it is very cheaply made for the price you pay. For $80 I could have gotten her a fuji film camera kit with the photo paper, photo albums, and scrapbook stickers/kit. For $80 with this camera I received a cheap plastic camera with 1 pack of photo paper that only had 4 sheets in it.The print speed is fast, the photo quality is okay. It's easy to transport. Not as durable as I would like. But it is easy for a child to use.

This was a great first instant camera for my 9yr old daughter. The starter kit comes with everything you’ll need to take and store really cute instant photos. They are smaller than a regular instant photo camera picture but still really good. Comes with frames and photo books as well as a case to keep the phone in while storing it. I was very impressed with this starter pack.
