Liquitex Acrylic Professional Varnish, Satin, 237 ml

Excellent product. It is not shiny, but the quality is very good. I recommend buying the shiny one too.

This Varnish is Very Good .I purchased some to Varnish over my Finished Acrylic Painting & What a Lovely Finish it has Done 👍I think it's a Good Idea to Varnish over your Finished Work of Art ...Firstly It Protects the Painting & also it Enhances the Colours slightly which is Great !!!Always Leave your Painting to Fully Dry first before you apply this Varnish I normally leave my ACRYLIC Paintings to Dry for 3 Weeks or More Before I Give them a Coat of Varnish 👍 I also find Laying your Painting flat on Floor or Table using some old cardboard so No Varnish Drips Damage Table or Carpet .I Feel Laying the Painting Flat Stops the Varnish from Running 👍 Just apply Varnish Evenly With a Clean Soft Brush Working From Top Left Corner straight even Strokes over to Right corner & Then Work the same way Left to right Making sure you give the Painting a nice even Coverage working your way down the Painting.This Varnish does Dry Fairly quickly, If you do see an area you have missed Wait till painting has dried & then repeat the same method again I Think 2 coats is Just PERFECT Using this Stuff 👌Also Do Not shake the Bottle Always stir it before Use .I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who's looking to Varnish there Work of Art .Hopefully this review has Helped someone out there 👍HAPPY PAINTING 🖌🎨 & Have a lovely Day .

I wasn’t expecting it to be liquidly but Is very liquidly. It seals acrylic paint quite well and lasts long

I've used different brands of varnish for my acrylic paintings but I had problems with them. Sometimes they dried and left small bubbles, others were sticky in the warm weather even after weeks of drying and I didn't like how fast they dried while I was applying them on the painting, so if I repeated a stroke in the same place (in the first minute), the first coat became like a glue and started to create textures and residues on the surface...a nightmare!But thankfully I bought this amazing Liquitex varnish all those issues finished! It has a nice texture, gives me the enough time to apply it even on large canvases without drying while I do it, but then, it dries evenly, quick and with a nice finishing.The only disadvantage I see with Liquitex is the lack of UV protection. The price is higher than the other varnishes, but I think is worth it.

Not gloss, not matt SATIN that's what I wanted and that's exactly what this is.

I'm probably being a bit picky, but there was a slight milky colour after this was dried. Not impressed really.

A very useful product for artists or crafts people using acrylics and needing to seal the painted surface. It goes a long way too! I gave my work three coats as per the instructions on the bottle and it worked well.
