The value assortment was worth the purchase if you're new to plumbing/replacing the tap washer and unsure which size to use. Unfortunately it split a day after I replaced it but luckily there were a few of the 1/2" sizes to tide me over with a better quality one.

Hi peepsI am an ex builder and now work as a maintenance engineer so I know my way around fixing things, so for me it works fine but the rubber is not the best quality and replacing washers can be fussy.

Bought these from Amazon as a quick and easy purchase without needing to go to the hardware store.Replaced the washers in my bathroom tap with these and they didn’t even last a month before needing to be replaced again. When I took these replaced washers out of the tap, they had completely misformed. Even the ones I originally had in the tap showed some wear after years of use but these ones were unrecognisable.The price difference from these to the new ones from the hardware store was £0.00 however the difference in quality is massive.Never ever buy the promoted stuff from Amazon. Quite simply the money usually spent on developing a quality product is being spent on promoted adverts by Amazon which means you’re only getting something that looks like what you want, but without the quality it need to last and do the job.My advice, don’t buy this product or anything from Amazon which isn’t an already established brand, we’re all just being ripped off.
