These are rather short, once corked they only are about an inch long. Fine for white wines or wines not meant to be aged more than a year.

these corks work exactly as described. i've used them to seal three bottles of mead, which have been sitting on their sides for a couple weeks now. there has been no leakage, the corks don't break when uncorked, and i like the design printed on them. i wish the bag was resealable, but i've placed it in a gallon size ziplock to make up for that. would buy again.i've included some images of my mead bottles. because of the corker i used, the tops don't look particularly pretty, but they work just fine. it also might be a bit of user error lol.in case you're interested, i used these corks with this portuguese double lever corker (link below). it says it's meant for #8 corks instead of #9 corks, but they seem compatible and i've had no issues with it.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FRWJNE?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
