Brilliant walkie talkies, goes a long distance in frequency, lovely to look at

I bought these for my granddaughter, she loves them. I've been told they have a good range of communication.

Good value for a kids starter set though sound quality correspondingly isn't great. Design flaw in that the light button is easily pressed and if carried in a bag or similar the light will stay on, draining the battery.

The walkie talkies work, but they drain new batteries within 2-3 hours, even when switched off. I contacted the manufacturer about this and their response was that I should purchase rechargeable batteries in order to save money in future and take them out every time the handsets are not in use. This requirement was not made clear at the time of purchase and make what seems like a bargain price into something pretty expensive. I bought these for my seven-year old as one of his Christmas gifts, so by the time we realised, it was too late to return them and the manufacturer have denied a refund. Please be aware of this before making the choice to purchase, particularly if you are intending to gift them to young children.
