It takes a little longer to charge the batteries than the charger that came with the camera, but it is very handy to have, especially with the way the camera drains batteries. The charger itself also holds a charge to help with the charging process.

I only used this once and it seemed to work just fine. It did not charge very fast but it did charge the battery. The reason I choose this one is because it was so cheap. It is not great quality and I don't think it would do well with heavy use but it worked for what I needed so I gave it 4 stars, I just needed it while we went on vacation.

The bonus with this product is the plug's prongs fold away making it easy to store and pack for a trip. Similarly the device comes with a car adapter if a charge was needed while traveling.Overall great replacement at a great price
