Great for step-ups, made in the USA
The 6-inch step is perfect for just stepping up and down while watching tv or doing a few minutes of cardio in between weight sets, especially if you have a small space and need to stow your exercise equipment when not in use. This step is made by the same company that makes the gym-version STEPs. I found the larger gym-version step a little too big and cumbersome (all those risers). The smaller hi-step version was way too small for step-ups. This in-between step was just the right size for a basic step-up/step-over workout. When used a single platform, I think it is the sturdiest of the bunch, with no shifting. It fits under a coffee table or bed when you're done using it. I was also surprised to open the box and find the product labelled "Proudly made in the USA." Bonus. For those who need exact dimensions and other details, the step area on top is 22 x 11 1/2in. This seems like the perfect size for step-ups, with comfortable room on either side while stepping so you don't feel like you're going to slip off. The base of the step, which is a little larger than the stepping area itself, measures 26 x 15 1/2in. And I can confirm the height is 6 inches from floor to top. In the picture, the step looks almost navy blue, but in person, the color was a medium blue, like the top of the hi-step ([...]).On carpet, it is stable and doesn't budge. It has two rubber feet at each corner, and grips nicely on flat surfaces, too. It's light, but very sturdy, and doesn't feel like it's bending or dipping when you step on it. Recommended maximum weight capacity is 250.I bought this product through Amazon for under forty dollars with free shipping and received it within 3 days. Yes, most plastic things I buy are cheaper; but for a piece of exercise equipment that will last decades, won't break or require repairs, is of good quality, is made in the USA, and arrives on my doorstep with little effort on my part, it seemed reasonable and I am happy with the purchase.

Happier than I thought I'd be
This was one of those situations where I had somewhat low expectations about the product. First, it's plastic versus some of the other more aesthetically pleasing materials available. It's a fixed height versus some of the adjustable steps. It was only available in bright blue. I worried about the tiny rubber feet as the only source of anti-skid contact with the tile floor. And I wondered if the texture on top would be too little or too much for my late 70s mom's feet.Appearance wise, they really should choose something more neutral. There's no reason this couldn't be black, tan, cream, or even a shade of grey. Royal blue is, frankly, a strange choice.Beyond that, I was pleasantly surprised. My mom liked the height. Just enough. The weight is light enough for her to reposition it when needed yet strong enough to easily support my 230lbs. The texture seems to work (dry) without being harsh on bare feet. Wet remains to be seen but I'm hopeful my mom will verify that it works since she'll use it to exit a shower. The non skid rubber feet do work. It'll be great if they hold up over time.Other than that bright color which my mom seemed not to care about, it left a good initial impression. I do wish it was a hair less expensive considering the materials.

Stack step
Like that you can add a step…it’s a great sturdy, non-skid step.

Multiple uses
I purchased this step to use with my resistance bands and tubes. The slots in the bottom of the Step allow the tubes to be channeled with moving/slipping from front to back during an exercise such as bicep curls. The feet on the Step raise the it just enough off the ground to allow use of my flat-style resistance bands either as single looped bands for an overhead press or doubled for dead lifts. In between exercises I use the Step for stepping to keep my heart rate up. The Step has been a wonderful addition to my workouts!

Perfect stackable stepper
If you're doing any kind of stepping exercise, especially fast-paced work with dumbbells, this is what you need. This thing is sturdy, doesn't go flying out from under you or caving in, and it's easy to clean or stack with others to increase your rise. Wonderful product.

Best one
I have bought several of these over the years and this is by far my favorite. One piece, so it’s not always falling apart every time you move it, and it doesn’t slip and slide on the floor. Love it.

Different usage than intended
Would work great as a stepper in home. My purchase was for my mother (90 y/o) to bed able to easily step into her bathtub shower combo. Since having both knees done, and advancing age. She's lost some flexibility in bein able to bend her knees enough to get in the shower. She doesn't have any problems with steps, so I figured getting her a step would make it easier on her to crest the edge of the tub. It works magnificently. We put a small bath rug on it so when she gets out, she's not stepping onto the plastic. Can also be used as a stepper and off set for doing elevated lunges. Made of quality materials, not to heavy about 6-10 lbs. So it's easy to be picked up and moved around. Wide platform area, so you don't feel like your stepping on a plank.
