The tips are hollow, these are the measurements I could find, I hope t's not too confusing. Length: 1.75", barrel width exterior: .25", barrel diameter interior: .15", it is non-threaded. I hope this answers your question, if not ask for more info

Can you switch this from Fahrenheit to Celcius?

According to the box it will read in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The instructions: Turn on master power switch. Press and hold both the soldering station temperature decrease button and the hot air temperature increase button for 2 seconds

is the hot air tip small enough to remove and replace one smd at a time? the tip looks large.

Smallest hot air nozzle is 5mm O.D. The other two are 8mm and 10mm.
