Sized to fit. Comfortable.
Keens are great shoes, the fit and comfort are amazing. I order these at 8 pm and they were on my door before 6 am not sure how but the were.

Excellent value, good performance, fit, comfort.
I’ve owned a pair of all-leather black Keens before - lasted 10 yrs! These seem equally well-made and fit well. The toe box is a bit smaller than my old keens but still larger than most (thank goodness!) and accommodates my slightly wide-at-the-toes (D/E) foot nicely. The insole is very comfortable but lacks the amount of arch support I like by a bit - not the high arch that my old boots had. They are still very comfortable for several hours. Not sure about a half-day or all-day hike though. Of course this is a very personal thing and...your mileage may vary. The grip of these soles is outstanding, just like my old Keens. I can walk sideways on slopes and these suckers just grab on and don’t let go. The block pattern on the sole also fits into the pedals of my hybrid bike perfectly - grip is so secure it almost feels like I’ve got cages on the pedals.I’ve not tested these in rainy or otherwise wet conditions so this review is a bit premature but I will revisit the review once I’ve done so. They do get a bit warm after an hour or so when it’s warm out but not as badly as I expected - there’s enough breathing to keep moderately cool even though they are water resistant - good compromise. On the whole, a REALLY good value with good performance, good fit, and good comfort - just slightly too little arch support for me. Not bad enough for a 4-star rating but I’d give 4-1/2 if it was an option. So...5-stars it is. I’ll revisit that rating after a few months and a few miles.Photos are of the bellows tongue.

High quality product.
These are great. Super durable, comfortable and always true to size. I have five pairs of these in various models, and they have lasted many years. Definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Comfortable and waterproof, lacks durability
Very comfortable and waterproof. I’ve bought 4 pairs of these over the past few years. The durability is the only thing that always makes me hesitate to continue buying them for the money. I am on my feet all day as a UPS driver, and am only able to get 6 months out of them before the front end of lacing support breaks, and traction dwindles.

I Think They Are Great...
Honestly, I did not know the name "Keen" for hiking boots/shoes until I got these. I was a bit nervous buying shoes I have not known from the 45+ years I have been hiking, and just walking around the village where I live. But in my opinion, these are excellent hiking shoes for all occasions. Just to wear around in a casual way they are very comfortable and look like extremely well-made shoes. For actual hiking of 5+ mile day-hikes, they are great too. Great soles for traction and stability, and I really have nothing bad to say about them. They look great, they feel great, and they perform great on the city streets and in the woods. What more do you want, you know? So even though I had never heard the name "Keen" before, I am very happy I decided to give them a try. If you get a pair, I think you will love them too. A slight "break-in-period", as with every pair of hiking shoes/boots I have ever had. That, for me, was about three, hour-and-a-half walks. Then they felt perfect, and hopefully will for years to come. I think you will be equally happy with them. I've had all different makes and models of boots over my decades of hiking, and these are as good as any of them. In my opinion they are well worth giving a try. Jim W.

GREAT FIT - BUT DURABILITY STINKS
The comfort of the shoe is great, size 10.5. If you want more or less arch support, then you might need to add a insert. The ones that come with the shoes are on the lower end of support...some, but not much. Keeps out the water as advertised. Toe box is roomy and comfortable.FATAL FLAW: The rubber outsoles come apart in chunks as some other reviewers have noted. I've purchased 2 pair one in September 2022 and another for a family member AT the end of April 2023.The pair bought in September 2022 is garbage because the sole has come apart in various chunks, a piece here, then a piece there, then its toast. The pair bought at the end of April, 2023 is now failing.I hike around a lake approximately 3-4 per week at a distance of 3.5 miles each time. 156 days times 3.5 miles equal 546 miles. My family member that got them at the end of April 2023 has far less mileage and usage. It is a shame because everythng else is in tact and even the tread is hardly worn, but just falls apart.BTW - the pair above bought in Spetember 2022 was a replacement for the previous pair that lasted about one year. I've switched brands and will NEVER purchase Keens again unless the price is halved or they make a better product. Merrel isn't much better, which is why I went to Keen.If you buy these, don't expect them to last 6-12 months if you use them routinely.

Sturdy, good-looking, manly boots
I'm pleased with my Keen Targhee 3s. They are very well-made and sturdy, and I like the way they look. The color scheme is versatile, matching most pants.
