Hands down the best blender I’ve ever owned by far. It’s not inexpensive but I feel I’m getting a superior blender, especially with all the features it has, so to me it’s worth the investment. I’m looking forward to all I will be able to do with this blender. It’s a powerful blender that has no problem getting the job done. I honestly wish I got this sooner. Also, the cleanup is one of the things I like the most. It’s certainly not the quietest blender but for me it’s not unreasonable for the power it has.

Works great and is quiet. Put the plunger and bracket in a drawer if it bothers you. It slides right out or back in.

Works extremely well. Twist container on tight to see the two operating buttons light up. Not recommended for chopping.

I LOVE My Vitamix!!! I bought a Vitamix back in the 70s; it lasted for 40 plus years; I used it daily. I just recently upgraded to the Ascent V. I couldn't be more pleased. The versatile programs for preparing a variety of tasty concoctions are simple to do. The directions and symbols are uncomplicated. It is so easy to clean! In just a couple of minutes, it is ready to use again. It blends food beautifully .. great smoothies, soups, and dips..etc. I did buy the Stainless Steel container to use with it as I prefer using SS. I love it also. It is important to make sure if you buy the SS container that you get the one compatible for the Ascent V. This is one powerful and easy to use appliance. Don't balk at the price. This machine has already paid for itself. And you can choose a payment plan to pay it off without interest through Amazon. The Ascent V Vitamix is an investment in my health. And I Am Worth It!!!

Everything you heard about a Vitamix is true. This model is great with the multiple presets. Use it every day. Happy as a clam.

This thing does it all. It has pre-programmed routines for most common blending tasks. My personal favorites have been making smoothies, shakes, and other frozen beverages. I also recently got an ice cream maker and have used my Viramix to puree various fruits or other components to mix into my home made ice cream.This machine is an absolute beast that almost scares me with the amount of power it has. It's fairly loud when blending frozen ingredients, but not crazy loud like I expected and it completes its programs so quickly that it's done before you know it. Whether it's mixing liquids with frozen fruits and ice cubes or creating a puree from fresh fruits this thing doesn't miss a beat. I was also amazed at just how quickly it manages to turn solid objects into liquid form. I believe this would give that BlendTec guy a run for his money.Is this machine worth the high price tag? I would have to leave that up to you to decide. Other Vitamix blenders may be just as effective, but require more manual operation since they don't include the smart capabilities or built-in programs, but for what this offers in utility, durability, and capability, I'd say it's worth it to me.Really the only thing I don't really like about it is that the screen just uses icons to represents the programs so if you haven't memorized all the icons (and there's a lot of them) you need to have a cheat sheet lying near by to know which option to select. Luckily it comes with a manual that explains that. I also comes with a nice recipe book full of instructions and photos for all the different things you can try out using all of the built in programs.This device has transformed my kitchen and I continue to search for new ways to integrate it into my normal cooking routines. There's many functions I've not tried yet. I think next I'd like to try to make my own nut butters and maybe even incorporate that into my ice cream.

For almost 800 you would think it would be prefect. The tamper holder on the side won't stay in place at ALL. When trying to clean it in the way they say in the manual, half the time soapy water shoots out the top and runs all over the counter-and that's with my hand pushing down on the lid. A true piece of garbage. Save your money and buy a cheap brand.
