Great sweet treat for milk chocolate lovers who enjoy a rich, nutty pistachio filling
The milk chocolate coating is perfectly sweet and creamy, and the Turkish pistachio knafeh/kunafa further enhances the sweetness of the treat with a rich, nutty flavor and creamy texture (with visible pistachio chunks mixed into the shredded phylo pastry). Altogether a great sweet treat for those who love milk chocolate and more than enough to share between 2 people. I personally recommend freezing before enjoying, but it can also be enjoyed at room temp. I was so excited to break off a piece of the chocolate bar to try it that I forgot to take a picture first. On price, this is a great price for a Dubai chocolate bar, which includes the cost of shipping (other competitor products are more expensive when shipping is added in). On the brand, Philadelphia Candies is a highly reputable and established chocolatier out of Western Pennsylvania (a home-grown US company still operated by the same family that founded it) and has a history of producing and selling all kinds of chocolates for over 100 years, so I trust that their chocolate products are going to be high quality.

Impressed!
I have to say: although the chocolate was a bit too sweet for my taste, it was a good Dubai bar. Not super big in serving size, but decent. I think if it were dark vs milk chocolate, it’d be much better but that’s just my personal preference. Good inner crunch, slight pistachio flavor. I’d buy it again. The thing that impressed me was the mindful packaging! They added a cooling pack, wrapped it in a cooling bubble wrapper, and also added a bar of milk chocolate for free! Nothing was melted and I’m in Hawaii.

Beware: some guarantees are not for all warm weather
Unfortunately, the “warm weather shipping guarantee” is one that shouldn’t be extended to certain parts of the country at certain times of year… like Florida in the spring, summer and even much of fall. This item arrived top of June melted, despite being very carefully and conscientiously packaged with cold packs, etc. I guess supply chain logistics is what it is, mang. But that doesn’t nullify the promise of receipt of a product in good, if not excellent, condition.Given that this latest darling of the gastronomical world is so sought after and is such a high cost item, I felt it prudent and fair to leave this review as a caveat emptor. This bar could be an excellent take on the chocolate, but I’ll never really know, because the Dubai chocolate bar is one that relies so heavily on the aesthetic and textural experience, which has been entirely compromised here. I stuckThe box in the fridge overnight in an attempt to rescue some of that experience, but whomp whomp. Once the filling has migrated from the interior to the exterior of the bar, which it did when it melted, there is no way to save the bar by cooling it again. The filling doesn’t solidify and is kind of doing a gooey two step sliding along the inside of the packaging of the unopened bar. Ah, to be blessed with such devastating first world problems, I know. And the complimentary chocolate bar was a kind gesture, so two stars for that, but even it was extra that the warm weather guarantee could not save from a melty fate.

Good taste. Lacking filling. Small bar for price.
This was a gift for a friend. She said the filling wasn’t very much compared to the chocolate.Everything in itself tasted good. The value though wasn’t great. Very tiny bar for $15. Is it worth it? Well, these bars are over hyped imo. I guess that’s up to you to decide. The company was kind enough to include a mini milk chocolate bar to try though, very kind.Which makes me feel bad leaving this review. 😭It was also packaged very nicely. It definitely won’t come damaged.

SO GOOD
10/10!!!!! This is the best dubai bar I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lotttt! The pattern on the bar is so detailed and neat and one of my favorite parts. The bar itself is crispy but you can also taste the super soft chocolate and it’s definitely on the sweet side but in the best way. This is the most affordable bars I’ve come across so it’s for sure worth your money! I recommend unboxing it as soon as it comes in so it’s fresh and does not melt.

Rich & Smooth!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a "Dubai Style" chocolate bar, but this one from Philadelphia Candies completely won me over. The 37% cocoa content strikes a perfect balance—smooth and creamy like classic milk chocolate, but with enough cocoa richness to satisfy real chocolate lovers. The texture is velvety and melts perfectly in the mouth. At 3.5 ounces, it's a decent size for a treat or sharing (if you can resist eating the whole thing yourself). It’s beautifully packaged too, making it a lovely gift or stocking stuffer.Definitely a premium chocolate experience—worth every bite.

Bad quality, don't waste your money
It was melted, so I put it in the freezer. I was sooo excited to try this, especially since it was coming from a candy shop. I was so disappointed. Paid $15 for a thin 3-4inch square. The chocolate was like brown wax. The pastacio cream had no flavor, couldn't even taste the.pastacio. The only positive part of the cream was the crunchy knafeh.
