Believe it or not, this pillow actually works. The way it's structured, allows your head to be placed in the center and regardless of which way you turn it helps so that you don't have that uncomfortable bend on the neck.If you're a giant or something, you may need something to help raise the pillow up to support your neck but my wife and I can use these just fine. I love it, I haven't had to roll the lower part of a pillow on my neck due to flatness or anything.By the way, if you want to place a big pillow case over it, it wouldn't be tight enough to make the pillow bend and affect its effectiveness, especially if you don't want to lay on the bare pillow and it gives you a nice cool feel while enjoying the solid pillow quality I haven't noticed a smell, the size is good especially since I'm not rolling around the bed with this.The lack of flatness helps greatly the extra raised areas where you can place your arms and things like that is beautiful. I won't say I slept like a baby, I'll say I slept like a dad after working two double shifts and I'm about to have a 3 day weekend where my child is with grandmom for the next few days. Very comfortable. Great neck and shoulder support. You will get a great night’s rest with this pillow.

It supports the neck, however I wish it was a little narrower for a better fit and comfort. Perhaps good for a person with a longer neck than me.

The chemical smell sticks around for a while after opening but it’s comfortable and has helped relieve neck pain.

It's very nice when you're in a recliner. It's not as hot as the U shaped pillows. It's firm but comfortable. Fits well behind your neck and is small enough to tuck away when not in use.

Could go either way, but not a fan of this pillow. It's too tall! And two dents. Your head should comfortably sink into a pillow, especially a cervical neck one.I bought a few of different types of cervical neck pillows, and honestly the Menlo Park one blows this one out of the water.The reason why I bought this b e s p i l o w was to get a little bit of extra support behind my neck when I'm taking a nap in a reclining chair, or on a couch. But this particular pillow puts so much strain on the back of my neck, and pushed my chin to my chest. Worst thing ever! I started getting pain down my left arm to my pinky and ring finger. That's not good!I am definitely returning the pillow for sure. Won't buy from this company unless they make a couple changes. If you are the manufacturer of this product, read carefully..The general shape of being a bean is cool. Definitely get the side support.But... it's just way too tall. I'm sure you could shave about 3 in off the bottom, and still have a structurally comfortable cervical neck pillow.Also, the firmness level is way too stiff. There's no give or play. There should be some kind of variable degree of firmness and softness from the outer layer to the inner layer. I just didn't feel that when I laid my neck on it.I'm a big guy, over 300 lb. And it was still pushing my chin to my chest. So imagine a little tiny woman who's 100 lb, and 5 ft tall? Recipe for disaster if you ask me.

Well made, comfortable. The pillow can slide easily, I use mine mainly for resting in my car. I use the pillow as support with head rest and I have had little issues besides it sliding around. Once the pillow is set I can rest easily and the ergonomic properties are apparent. Would buy again
