Great tool for lower level ESL classrooms
I teach ESL at a low-intermediate level and am always looking for creative ways to enhance my lessons. This is the level when students get serious about making "wh" questions ("What is she doing?" "Where are her parents?") so I bought these cards hoping they might help. They were wonderful! Each set shows a different story and you can use them in multiple ways. I started out by modeling one card and then giving them a set of six to put in order and write questions about. They swapped sets with other students and asked and answered questions. I used them several different mornings and my students were engaged and seemed to enjoy what they were learning. There was enough variety for my class size. I definitely thought they were worth the money because I'll be using them again and again and they are well made.

Great for language skills
I use these with preschoolers who have an ASD diagnosis and or language delays. The graphics are great, not too overwhelming, yet contain details that help children learn to be social detectives and read the scene. The children enjoy using these cards and the item contains a variety of scenes. Definitely recommend this and the other spark sequencing cards and main idea book they produce.

I really like the Spark Sequencing Cards. Community Helper Stories
They are well made and come in a sturdy box. The topics are functional and expose students to new and familiar vocabulary. I think the community helper scenes are functional stories for elementary and VE populations. I use them during language therapy sessions. I would buy more of these varies boxes.

Easy, no-prep activity for speech-language therapy
I am a speech-language pathologist in a middle school setting, and sometimes it can be difficult to find age-appropriate materials. I love these cards because each story is relevant and relatable, and the illustrations are age-appropriate. I used my SPARK cards to target a variety of goals - grammar and syntax, inferencing, social skills, comprehension at all levels, narrative formulation, picture description, and sequencing. I have even used them for my articulation and fluency students - they were great for mixed groups. The cards were also a lifesaver when my schedule was chaotic, because this no-prep material made lesson planning easy.

high quality, well sequenced
I bought these for myself to use with my Russian tutor. She narrates as I look at pictures and then she describes a card and I have to pick out which one it is. I have learned a lot of new vocabulary from this product. I also use these when I do private lessons in Spanish and my students like the activity.

these cards are super durable and the illustrations of the picture scenes are ...
I bought these cards to use with my students ages 5-8. Firstly, these cards are super durable and the illustrations of the picture scenes are large and clear. Second, I love that these cards are so versatile and filled with content for learning and generating schema. My students are enjoying putting these scenes in order and I am really loving the handy question prompts provided for each scene.

Lifesaver
These are great, they are helping my son with his W questions and helps complete a full and detailed sentence of when asked a question about the scene. There is even a parent cheat card to help. If insurance doesn’t cover speech This is a great alternative.
