Cushy but not slippery - yay! Top stays up but does not bind; cozy but not overly hot. I have hiked in them and wear them for everyday. Fit is great, no annoying seams, washing is fine, no pilling so far.

Cozy, warm, works well with ankle boots

My husband and I bought ourselves a pair of Doc Martens each for our anniversary presents to each other in September and while they are already comfortable, I have sensitive skin in general, but my ankles seem to be the most sensitive. So, I looked for socks with thick cushioning around the lower shin/ankle region, et voilà, in comes these guys. First of all, I have cold feet like 98% of the year, and these socks find the perfect balance of keeping the bottom of my feet warm and the tops of my arches nice and cool. Second, they're so soft and comfy, I really love wearing them just in general. But finally, our third point, my boots don't irritate my lower shin/ankle area anymore, these fit wonderfully inside my boots and I am extremely happy. To the extent that I'll likely purchase more of them. I got the kind of mocha, beige, oatmeal color trio and they're so aesthically pleasing that I like showing off my socks even more, and they're very close to the color depicted. Highly recommend!
