So I've had this GE dishwasher since 2018 and have had to replace the UI twice in that length of time. It works fine otherwise but this has been a problem with it. In 2021, the UI went out and I replaced it with a GE UI supposedly. It had a bright white light on it for the timing part, which I didn't particularly care for but as long as it worked, I was happy. It seemed to work alright for a little while but things started acting up a bit after a while but I ignored that as long as I could get my dishes clean. Fast forward to 2024 and the random beeping, like when you open the door, started again. That was the problem before in 2021. The dishwasher did this both times until the dishwasher completely quits working. No lights at all. Realizing it was probably the same problem, I decided to replace the UI control once again. Thought of getting a new dishwasher but mine is still in good working order otherwise. The new ones are expensive today and they don't look like my other appliances. My husband and I are elderly. He is 80 and I am 70 and we had changed out the part ourselves by watching videos on how to do it in 2021. The first time was a bit harder because of never having done it before but this time it was quicker and easier for us despite we are older. We used this UI control instead of the GE brand and so far, and its' only been a month, it has been working great! The light on it is now green like it used to be instead of the bright white and I'm happy for that. Looks better like when I bought the thing. I would purchase this IU again as of now. Don't know if it will last long cause its only been a month and time will tell but right now, I am happy with it. Glad to have my dishwasher back working. The seller is very kind and would recommend him and the product so far!

My GE dishwasher would randomly chime throughout the day and the internet told me to replace this part… so I waited till it fully broke and wouldn’t turn on then ordered this part. It arrived quickly and replaced it myself (thx YouTube) I only needed a screwdriver and a 1/4” nut driver (or a socket and ratchet) don’t over tighten when putting it back together! The only difference I have noticed so far is the LED color is red instead of orange while running so it now looks mad that it’s washing my dishes 😂

This part fixed my problem with the dishwasher randomly sounding the start up chime. I wish GE made these things easier to access (or made them sturdier to where they don't go bad in the first place).

Our dishwasher would turn its self on all hours of the night, it got worse and then wouldn’t turn on at all, you had to unplug it, swear at it, kick it and even then it might turn on depending on how the stars align. Installed this board, set the jumpers and I no longer wake up to the dishwasher chiming every 7.21 minutes during the night. Works great now and the clean light works again as well. Sweeeeet

My dishwasher had weird symptoms for years and then finally started to just not turn on, unless I unplugged it or unplugged the motherboard, or waited a day for it to recover from whatever drama the original user interface was causing. Using this part fixed the problem. This item looks very similar to the original. One issue is that it just barely fit into the compartment. It was a hair too long. Luckily, I was able to bend it just a bit to get it to fit in. Other than that, I'm really happy with this and wish I had realized this was the cause of my dishwasher problem sooner.

Worked perfect for my troublesome dishwasher. Now it's back to normal working condition.

My ge washer would randomly ring as if it were waking up. It progressively got worse and started to be completely turned off. The washer has no lights and wouldn't turn on. The main board had a flashing light code that stood for "board communication lost" . Replaced the UI board and now the washer is working great. Tested the old board, and found There are 3 capacitors on the back of these boards and 1 or more went bad causing the board to appear dead, no lights. Replace the capacitors or the whole UI board. You'll be set.
