The bar is well made, and I also purchased some additional nuts to help hold the plates against the inner flange. Some plates with a nominal 25mm center hole are a few mm larger in diameter, and they can wobble a bit. I inner nuts will give a larger bearing area for the included spinner nuts. There is no rotating center sleeve like on some bars, but I used this with a padded center to place on the shoulders.

Good quality, no issues with the item. The length I chose is a bit short, so it is convenient for maneuvering in my small basement, however it’s quite uncomfortable on the shoulders when trying to do squats.

* This is for 1" Weight Plates *A barbell is pretty much a barbell. Though, this barbell has special dimensions compared to others. I use this with one of the Oopsdecor folding benches. I have a smaller room that I also wanted workout equipment in so I had to go more compact. Can be used for many other applications due to the special size, make sure to check it out, grab your measuring tape if needed! I took a few days to measure the area I needed,researched all bars/dimensions. I am glad I did, this bar worked out perfectly for my situation. A standard bar would not have allowed me to spread my hands out for bench press on the Oppsdecor bench.***If you do not have a folding Oopsdecor bench, you can ignore this extra information, below***If you have the oopsdecor bench that folds like I do, the barbell will stop the bench from fully folding up. You can move the rack arms/pin, to the proper height which allows the bar to fit in between the bench seat. There is a small gap between the bench and the seat. I then used a small Allen Wrench to secure the bench, at the bottom hole. When using this method, the supplied pin will not fit the bottom of the bench, it will be too thick for the hole. This is due to the Barbell making contact with the seats bar. Odd design, I know but with the information provided it will work. Read it again and look at the bench if it is confusing. I had to step back myself and think about it. I did not return it because it was cheap and the size/folding option is what I needed. Enjoy!

After a while of trying to DIY an at home gym with some old spare pipes, we finally decided to just get a proper bar. The difference is night and day, and now we actually have space for the plates we've accrued over time that have been relegated to the variable dumbbell sets they came with.This was purchased mainly for leg work, squats and deadlifts as they're very good for anxiety and so on, and it is without a doubt instrumental. Solid heft that adds a good amount of weight to the plates, and good capacity to support our 2 x 50s and 2 x 20s easily, and perhaps two more smaller plates on each side, but that remains to be seen.One problem is that the caps come loose, but I am habitually paranoid about such a thing and check it often. The grip is great and is a world of difference from trying to DIY it or simply use variable dumbbells, but the size makes it so that the dumbbells are better for presses. Hard to store at the moment, but that's a worthy price to pay, as was the price for the bar. Definitely worth it.

It was perfectly fine. It did not fit my plates, which was my mistake. So, I had to return. But it was a good bar.

This bar is the perfect size,, it is made well and is a great price.
