Probably the best flashlight I've ever had
Got this during black friday sale. Have always wanted a flashlight I could take in the pool without destroying it. This one is no where near as bright as advertised, but it's no slouch. Definitely the brightest light I have but battery life is not very good. What make this worse is LiPo batteries don't seem to fade away like a traditional flashlight, this tends to work bright and perfectly then it will just suddenly quit without warning. Probably not the best thing in a dark underwater cave.Does come with a separate battery charger and spare o-ring seals.Nice bright well made flashlight, really lights up the whole pool at night! Recommended highly.

Great dive light
Update: the company reached out to me and replaced the original light I received stating that it was defective. I have used the replacement light on multiple dives now with no issue, and it is truly a great light. One of the other divers on my most recent trip had the light as well and loved it. It’s the brightest light in the water by far at this price point. I bought a different light for backup that was much pricier and is not even close to this brightness. Highly recommend and will be purchasing a 2nd for backup. The At first glance this is a 5 star product. I used it for the first time on a 140ft dive and it worked perfectly. Super bright and lightweight. 2nd dive, same story. 3rd dive (all in day 1 of using this), the light is no longer bright and turns on and off unexpectedly when it’s on the brightest setting. I couldn’t find any water inside so not sure what caused it to change so quickly, but will be returning.

Best bang for your buck
This flashlight is great! despite what a lot of other reviewers say about battery life or that it turns on easy while in a bag for travel. first off this battery is at least a 3 hour life on full. compared to lights 100X the price it has a longer life and is 2x the lumens. and those lights only charge as a unit, you can't put in a fresh battery. so i recommend buying at least 1 more battery for this for night dives or technical dives its nice and cheap and works well, and if you lose it diving you're not having to spend $400 again. i'd buy two for this price and a few extra batteries and you're set. only down falls are, is you only have a spot beam option, no twist or push for flood. and the second is the lever to turn it on is a little glitchy its not smooth to go from a lower lumen setting to full 2000 lumens. thats the only reason i gave it a 4 start out of 5. if they fixed those two things this would be the best dive light, Period.

Review after 60 Dives
I bought this light to use for my divemaster internship in the Red Sea and dived with this light on every dive. My initial impression was the construction of the light seemed pretty robust. After 60 plus dives, the outside is still in great condition other than the black anodized coating is wearing away which is normal and to be expected after heavy use. The brightness of the light seemed good for night diving and ok for caves in daylight diving. What I did not like is that the light was unreliable. sometimes the light would not work. I would slide the switch to the "on" position and no light. I would move the switch back and forth, shake the light underwater, and twist the battery cover back and forth to try to get illumination without any success. I do not know if this is because of the switch or battery contact. No water was ever in the battery compartment, nor were there any signs of corrosion. This occurred about half of the dives. The battery also took 7 plus hours to charge when I did charge it. I would get about 45 minutes of run time on the mid brightest setting before the battery was drained,I also did not like the slide function of the switch even though it allowed for adjustable brightness. I cannot even count how many times the light was accidentally switched on while clipped to my harness. I'd take off my gear and notice it was switched on or my dive buddy alerted me to it being on. For these reasons, I would not recommend this light for diving due to it's reliability issues. I have ceased using this light and opted for a more reliable light for diving.

Worth it
Worth every penny. It is so bright, and water proof. And comes with the charger for the battery. I have dropped it, and stepped on it.

Well Made, dimmable, has a lockout function.
-Lockout function: I see people saying this light comes on in their back. However it has a very intentional design function to eliminate the problem. The threads on the tail end of the body and inside the tail cap are anodized, this means if you UNscrew the tail cap very slightly there will be no metal to metal contact and the light will not come on regardless of the switch position (see photos).-Dimmable: If you slide the switch quickly there is a delayed response. However you can just push the slider up part way and wait about 1 second it will come on it low. Or slight it to the top quick and then back down. I suspect that delay is because it uses a hall sensor switch (its magnetic) so the light is more waterproof. The low is not super dim, but it is noticeably less bright.-Rechargeable: Came with everything I needed to get started, including a 2000ma battery and charger.-Underwater: TBD will update with long term results.

Great entry level torch for the beginner diver
Great entry level torch for the beginner diver. It’s bright enough to look in all the nooks and crannies. After over 100 dives in 3 years, I feel this torch served its purpose and I’m now looking to upgrading after the switch on my torch corroded out, even after rinsing with fresh water after every dive.
