It was absolutely perfect. I got it from my grandson's third birthday and he absolutely loved it. Beautiful colors bright and very relaxing and definitely worth the money. I'm not sure about sound or heat output, but like i said i bought it for my grandson. I would definitely recommend it

The projector does a good job transforming the ceiling into views of the night sky. It's a good value for the money.I like the preinstalled slide, it's crisp and stunning. The shooting star effect is pretty cool too. The rotation feature is nice but unfortunately flawed. I also appreciate the auto-off timer, even if it only has three options (1h, 2h, off). The brightness is not adjustable and just right for the bedroom at night time, it's not too bright to disturb the sleep.Unfortunately, there's a slew of tiny flaws hurting the experience:- The resolution and quality of the slides varies and is generally poor. The preinstalled slide is high-resolution and high-contrast, but the other 12 slides are very soft and crappy quality. The slides have large manufacturing tolerances so you need to adjust the focus for each one.- The rotation mechanism does not run smoothly, every minute or so the projection makes a small jump.- The projector is very dim. It really only works well at night or in a fully blacked out room.

The focus is really good but you definitely have to be at least recommended distance away from the surface you are projecting onto. I put it on the floor of my garage and projected on the ceiling, the picture was excellent even out to the margins. The pillars of Creation picture was stunning and the non astronomy discs were fun. Unfortunately I was hoping to use it under my plastic table at star parties. I learned by accident that my table was transparent so I thought it would be a fun addition. The distance from the ground to my table was too short and the picture was too unfocused to be useful. I thought about projecting on something behind me but the projector is really bright. Makes for a wonderful image but would compromise dark adapted eyes. These were all my specific issues. I did end up returning it but this is a really good device definitely 5 stars.

Bought for my 8 year old grandson for Christmas. He loves it! Very educational. Easy to use. Great size he takes it with him when he stays overnight. Quality is wonderful! Pictures are so clear.

Has a lot of variety, the clarity is pretty good, and it covers a good amount of space. But the brightness function doesn’t work at all. It is decently bright though! Overall, it was a great buy!
