I got this to protect my camera as throwing it into my backpack allows it to jumble about. This is quite expensive so putting a case on it was the least I could do.The case itself is a fair thin and lightweight one. The outer has got a good amount of rigity but does have a little flex on the larger flat areas. The construction is good and the zipper is well made, I have had no issues of snagging so far.The thing that lets this down is that it only just big enough to fit the camera. It barely fits and if you go for something other than the stock lens, then you are out of luck.So far, this has worked great. The camera has been well protected and it has saved the camera from getting little nicks and scratches. While I think it will protect the camera from a short drop, I don't think it will fair too well from a larger drop.Overall, I think this gives great protection for what I need it for. The case is well made and feels robust, however it only just fitting the camera makes it a bit of a one trick pony. I wish it was slightly taller so you could have other lenses than the kit lens on the camera. 4/5
