Got me back into reading!
This series has got me back into reading! Absolutely love it! Easy and captivating. I get so lost in the story my train rides to work now seem like they go in seconds! Nice and spicy but with the cute cover, you may find the mother in law asks to borrow it... Decide with care haha!

A lovely feel-good story!
The Strawberry Patch Pancake House was a very yummy read. It is filled with the most mouthwatering food as well as romance. I really enjoyed getting to know the new characters and especially loved Olive, who was such a cutie. A lovely feel-good story!

Great to return to Dream Harbor
I loved the immediate chemistry between Archer and Iris. The familiarity of Dream Harbor and its community makes this a 'feel good' read even when the road is a tad bumpy.I would recommend this book to anyone who could do with a bit of a 'me time'. On a short visit to Dream Harbor, you can't help but relax and smile. For the record......Kids do have a place in romance novels.

Meh
*spoilers*It was okay. You know what you’re getting with Laurie Gilmore books, but I didn’t have the same warm & happy feeling with this one as I did with the other ones. Don’t get me wrong, they’re all incredibly cheesy and happy ever after vibes, but I didn’t appreciate this one quite as much. The timeframe was stupid and annoyingly short. The MMC seemed to have a personality transplant a few chapters in. The pregnancy was predictable. I HATE when the reader knows the woman is pregnant before she does. Hate miscommunication tropes. Olive was cute.

A good comfort read
I really enjoyed this book, I have found the whole series to be a comfort read but not only did I find this book a comfort read but I also found I cried and laughed with this book. I think being a newish mum this story hit home a little more than the others did.

A spicy, poignant, adorable read
Loved going back to Dream Harbor and diving into a another story there!Chef Archer is NOT expecting to suddenly become a father to a five year old girl or give up his life in Paris to move to a small town. He's out of his depth in every way possible.Enter free spirit Iris who connects with his daughter straight away, and provides some much needed fun and joy when she moves in as their nanny. The whole story was so poignant and I loved how they slowly got used to being a family. Also loved to see the cameos from the other Dream Harbor residents! If you love a small town slow burn with some spice and a happy ever after this one is for you!

An amusing sexy romance
Well, if you like romance with a bit of, what the author calls 'smutt', then you should enjoy this. It conforms to the genre, but what saves it is the setting (you can only imagine what Dream Harbour is like!) and the humour. There are five books in the series (to date!) and they are all set in the same location and characters from one form part of another. So it is as if you see everyone both as bit players and main characters. You also learn their backstory that way. It is an interesting concept and one that works well here. The humour is good, and whilst fairly graphic, the sex is well done. If you are not a fan of such 'scenes', then obviously, this can be an issue. But this is a 'feel-good' story as per the romance genre. As such, you are kept on edge to see how the lovers will unite in the end. Hence, within the genre, well-written and deservedly so, a best seller.By the way, it is worth reading the comments the author makes about her story.
