I purchased the natural, unpainted, bamboo material.A simple Allen wrench is provided, as well as felt pads for its feet. I think it is exactly as advertised, which sometimes is not always the case.

great product.Just be careful if your child uses it, once my daughter lost her balance on it and fell on the floor. (the product is not made to access high cupboards (for example) not stable . But it does great when used correctly)After a long time using it , i can say its a good material ( wood- no mold )

the bamboo is a nice feature for the look in the bathroom .. easy assemble and good quality for price.

These are nice sturdy wood as far as I can tell. I didn't realize I'd have to assemble them. For some reason I imagined they would come assembled and fold up somehow to be put to the side when not needed. But that's my fault for making assumptions. I would prefer to be able to store it between uses. And not have you leave it out. Because my bathroom is small, I have stubbed my toe on it trying to get to my tub. I just need to get used to it being there.The pre drilled holes didn't quite line up right and I was not able to get one of the bolt screws flush against the wood. But it doesn't effect anything really.

Very disappointing product. Not only does the bamboo have a crack in it, but I had the hardware itself break on me as I was assembling. Screw broke inside of the product so I have no way of replacing it with a new one. The hex of the screw heads are also slightly larger than the allen wrench so they are altogether just poorly manufactured.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!I got the bamboo style and this squatty potty is an essential. It holds weight pretty well. I love the bamboo quality and looks heavy duty. The only downsize for this is not completely leveled to the ground but I’m no handy man. The stool doesn’t fold but it looks cute right under my toilet.

Easy to put together, sturdy and cute! A lot nicer to look at than the plastic ones. Definitely buy it!

Easy to put together, clean look, it's not the most stable due to it's narrow base. Easy to knock out position. When I place one foot on the stool it tips. Depending on your height and the heigh of the toilet I suggest a shorter model. I believe I purchased 7"; 5.5" to 6.5" is probably a better choice for me. It will still get the job done. Once i had both feet safely on the stool, I found it does serve it's function well.
