silicone vent will allow water to go in during dish wash. not a good design. any feedback?

I think the silicon vent might create a pressure chamber when you get hot water in there. So a dish washer running hot water ends up turning the interior of the cup into a pressure tube?

I prefer the 8 ounce glass, they're easier for me to hold. I also bought the 12 ounce for my family and they love them.They're perfect with or without ice, they don't sweat or tip over, a great purchase!

The nespresso vertuo coffee size is 7.7oz and i’m debating the 8oz but worried it would be just too close. insight on sizing?

Don't have one on size but, these are very fragile, expensive, difficult to hold unless you have large hands, and can't be washed in the dishwasher.
